Chapter One



-Meredith’s POV-

“Hey, Justin?” I asked gazing into his big sea green eyes; I’ve been dating him for a little less than a year now.

“Yeah, Mere?” he replied as he flipped his long dirty blonde hair, I loved when he did it.

“Can we go to the movies and see the Dark Knight?” I questioned up to him with pleading eyes.

“Sure, babe, but haven’t you seen it like a million times already?” he asked laughing in small bits.

“Uh huh, but it’s soooo addicting.” I said shifting my body to kiss him lightly on the lips.

“Now THAT’S addicting.” He explained grabbing his car key’s off of the coffee table.

“We can go out to eat afterwards if you’d like.” He suggested grabbing my hand as I laced my fingers between his smiling.

“Sound’s good!” I said grabbing my purse off the coat rack as we made our way to the car, hand in hand.

“Okay, do you want to eat before or after?” Justin asked smiling over to me, he had the perfect smile, hell, he was perfect.

“Whatever you want to do.” I shrugged rolling down the window, to feel the warm breeze outside.

“Okay, we’ll go after then, agreed?” he smiled over to be with his big eyes again.

“Mhmmm.” I smiled back pulling out the eyeliner in my pocket followed by flipping down the mirror as I touched up places around my eye.

“We should eat at Applebee’s.” I said as Justin pulled into a close parking space.

“Okay, and we’re heeeerrrreeeee.” He laughed grabbing his phone from the dash board.

“Yay!” I hopped out of the car excited, I moved a little to quickly because a sudden shot of pain shot through my stomach and back, causing me to groan lightly, but loud enough for Justin to hear.

“What’s wrong babe?” Justin asked racing towards me.

“Nothing, let’s go in!” then the sudden feel of guilt crawled through my stomach once more.

“Two for Dark Knight.” Justin said getting his wallet out of his perfect fitting jeans; they weren’t to tight nor to baggy.

“12 dollars please.” the lady said setting two tickets on the counter, as Justin put a twenty down.

“8 is your change, enjoy the show.” She smiled assisting the people behind us.

“Okay, want any goodies?” he questioned pointing to the counter across the room.

“Yup!” I said running over to the glass counter and let my mind drift over the variety.

“One large popcorn, a Pepsi-“ he began saying.

“And two bags of gummy bears!” I added and Justin nodded up to the guy at the counter. He paid and we grabbed out stuff, walked into the dark room, it was packed inside, we climbed the stairs and found seats near the top.

“That looks gooooood.” Justin said, staring at the action packed preview on the screen.

“Mhmmm.” I laughed leaning over to rest my head on his shoulder, another preview rolled across and caught my full attention.

“Now THAT looks awesome!” I critiqued opening my bag of gummies, he rolled his eyes and continued watching the previews, there were several more before the movie began starting.

“FINALLY!” I yelled than, “Shhhh” filled the room, I kissed him once more before I was to focused on the movie.

“You’re so silly, but I love you.” He said taking a sip of our Pepsi.

“I love you too.” I whispered lightly into his ear, he set the container down in the cup holder and gripped onto my hand.

“Ohhh, that was so good!” I smiled as we ran out of the theatre to beat the mob of people, Just had the car started and going before both of us were even buckled.

“It was.” He agreed taking a deep breath.

“Applebee’s here we come.” I giggled as he pulled into a parking spot; the lot was full compared to usual.

“Welcome to Applebee’s, tonight we’re having a special, couple get half off of every meal.” The short blond waitress greeted us, that’s why the lot is full probably.

“Great!” I smiled looking over at Justin, he was wonderful, and everything to me.

“Would you like a table or booth?” she asked, I shot Justin a ‘You Decide’ look, he never liked those looks either.

“Whichever.” He nodded and the lady turned around as I crept a quick kiss in.

“Follow me please.” She motioned.

“Can I get you a drink?” she asked as we sat down at a small booth.

“An Ice Water and Chocolate Shake, please?”

“Of course, and for you sir?” she nodded.

“….uhm, can I have a Budweiser?” Justin smirked flashing his ID to her.

“Yup, I’ll be right back!” she smiled walking away, I looked over to Justin.

“Looks like I have to drive home, huh?” I giggled.

“Guess so babe.” He smiled; our waitress came walking back to us, hands full.

“Here yah go!” she said setting down my water and shake, then a frosted mug and a glass bottle in front of Justin.

“Can I start you guys off with an appetizer?” she asked calmly, I looked at Justin telling him I didn’t want anything.

“No thank you.” He grinned, that awkward grin he had when he was nervous.

“Okay, are you ready to order then?” she asked.

“Yeah, I am.” I said looking down at the menu; I wasn’t really that hungry due to gummy bears and popcorn beforehand.

“Can I have a hamburger and fries?” Justin shrugged, I smiled lightly.

“Uh huh.” She said writing it down, then she looked over at me and smiled.

“Just a chef salad, please.” I said and she walked away nodding.

“Not hungry?” he asked.

“Not really.” I smiled then bit my lip.

“Oh.” He lightly breathed.

“I need to tell you something.” I nervously spoke looking down, Justin held onto my hand and lifted my shin up with his free hand, I gazed into his eyes and mine started to water.

“What, babe?” he asked concerned.

“I’m pregnant.” I slowly said a let my body fall onto the table causing it to shake and forks to bounce up quickly.

Ohhh, cute update!
