So I had a dream, and I decided that I would write out my dream in story form (because I'm really gay like that) and then I figured if I added to it, it could become a fan fic, so here we are

As for love interests, I don't know how many characters I'll need, or wether the guys will have girlfriends, but I encourage you to volunteer yourselves along with a description so that if I do need people, I know who to put in

‘Welcome to Summerlin, Las Vegas.’
She nibbled at her already bitten down nervously as she read the sign.
Welcome to your new life Lillie.
Just over two hours ago you could have called her the happiest girl alive. But a two hour car journey later, and she was close to tears. Two hours ago she stepped into her car and joyfully said goodbye to a life that had caused her nothing but misery. She was happy to leave, to move away, but it wasn’t until now that she had thought about what would happen when she got there. She would have to start again, and she was never the type who fitted in easily.
“You alright sweetie?” Her mum asked from the driver’s seat.
“Mmmhhmm…” Came her mumbled reply.
“Don’t worry about it Lillie, you can start again, I bet you’ll fit in just great here.” Was her mum’s feeble attempt to encourage her.
“Right.” Lillie scoffed. If the people in her old life were anything to go by, she’d have a running total of zero friends here too. See, she didn’t fall into any of the stereotypical High School Cliques. The closest she’d come to cheerleading was having a Pom-Pom shoved in her face. She was clever, but didn’t follow the nerds’ dress code, the Goths, well, they scared her, and, you get the picture.
“You know, you’re a beautiful girl, if you find yourself a nice boy you’ll find your feet here in no time.” Her mum tried.
“Mum, I haven’t even set foot on Las Vegas soil and you’re already trying to set me up?” Lillie laughed.
“Just trying to be of assistance.” She replied, before slowing down and pulling the car up at the curb. Lillie gazed out of the window at the house they’d parked outside. “Well, here we are.” Her mum turned around to look at her, seeking approval. Lillie hadn’t seen the house before, her mum had picked it out herself, and she did a good job. It was beautiful.
“Wow.” Lillie breathed. Her mum let out a sigh of relief. She got out of the car and headed towards the front door, Lillie followed suit. “Tags on the biggest room!” She screamed, breaking into a run.
“Oh, of course your majesty.” Her mum laughed, tossing her the keys. Lillie opened the door and looked around, it really was amazing. She claimed my bedroom and unloaded her boxes from the car. Her mum was busy sorting out the front room, while Lillie pranced about her new room, putting up posters. Before long, the doorbell rang, Lillie heard it, but didn’t bother going downstairs, it would just be a boring old neighbour welcoming them.
“Liilliiiiiieeeee!” Her mum’s voice rang out.
“Eehhh?” Was her reply.
“There’s someone at the door, his name’s Riley!” Oh dear, Lillie could already sense her mum pairing her and ‘Riley’ up. She made her way downstairs, head bowed in embarrassment as to what her mum may have said. When she reached the bottom few steps, she looked up.
Woah. They didn’t make ‘em like this back where I was from.
She went to take another step and in true Lillie style, missed her footing, sending her flying, only to land in a heap at Riley’s feet. Having already fucked up her first impression, she, rather ungracefully, stuck her hand upwards in the air.
“Lillie.” She stated. Riley laughed and grabbed her hand. He pulled her up so that there were only centimetres between their faces.
“And I’m Riley.” He smiled a beautiful smile.
I think Summerlin might be alright after all.

“Everybody has been waiting for you to arrive!” Riley told Lillie and her mum, Rose.
“Great.” Lillie said, in her usual sarcastic manner. She hated being the centre of attention. Her mum elbowed her. Rose hated Lillie’s sarcasm, she saw it as anti-social. But she knew that her negative attitude had come from the terrible seventeen years she’d lived. The death of her father at the age of twelve had been a blow, and she had always been given a hard time from the people at school. She’d never had friends, boyfriends, yes, but relationships never lasted. Boys thought she was ‘hot’, but they didn’t care about her, in fact they thought she was weird. Which, she was. Unique is a better word.
“My mum’s baked cookies, she’s just taking them out of the oven, and then she’ll be right over to say hello.” Riley continued, “She sent me over when we heard that you’d arrived.” He laughed, “I heard you scream from my house!” Lillie blushed and let her dark brown hair (AN. I’ve dyed it!) fall in front of her blue eyes.
“Good afternoon!” Came a friendly voice from behind Riley. A woman, his mum, walked towards them with a smile on her face and a plate of cookies in her hands. “Welcome to Summerlin!” She beamed.
“Mum, this is Lillie and Mrs. Brennan.” Riley introduced them.
“Call me Rose.” She held her hand out to Riley’s mum, who, after fumbling around with the cookies, managed to free a hand.
“Bernadette, Bernadette Johnson.” She replied, “Lovely to meet you.”
Rose ushered Riley and Bernadette inside to the front room, followed by herself and Lillie.
“Riley, why don’t you take Lillie and show her around?” Mrs. Johnson suggested. Riley looked up at Lillie, who nodded, and they stood up. Riley put his hand around her waist and steered her out of the front door.


They walked down the street; Riley hadn’t removed his hand from Lillie’s waist.
“So, where are you from?” He asked.
“Evanston, Illinois.” Lillie replied, aware of the whereabouts of Riley’s hand. He seemed like a sweet talker. Looking back she should have seen that he was a bit too smooth. But no girl can help falling for a charmer.
“And what brings you to Vegas?” He asked, flipping his chestnut hair.
“Evanston… It wasn’t a good place for me. And my mum decided we needed a fresh start.” Why didn’t she just say that her mum got a job here? She knew it probably wasn’t a good idea to open up to Riley, but he was just so… charming.
They walked together for a while, Riley pointing out the High School and different places where people hung out.
“I’d better be returning you home; I wouldn’t want your mum distrusting me already.” He smiled and turned her around. Lillie, completely lost, let him show her the way. They arrived back at Lillie’s house and he stopped her outside the door.
“You know,” Riley said in a whisper, pushing her back against the door. “You’re really hot.” He leant in and kissed her, pressing his body against her. Lillie didn’t like it, but she didn’t push him away, this scene was all too familiar to her. She’d never experienced a first kiss the way it was meant to be, sweet and romantic. It was always just like this. A testosterone driven boy trying to grope her. She just stood back and let him finish.
Looks like nothing’s going to change.
