he knew her, just Stella didn't really know. She never noticed him looking at her or anything. and she was in like, ALL of his classes, so they sorta talked sometimes...

They walked back into the living room, and found everyone either sleeping, almost-dead, or spacing out.

There was a brief and awkward silence.

Luna sighed, and Kelsey jumped up when she saw them. Esther was doodling on a piece of paper.

"Hey, why don't we play something for them?" Kelsey grinned, trying her hardest to break the silence that filled the room.

"Come on! Lets go down to the basement and play!" Kelsey walked over to Luna and pulled her up, then did the same with Esther.

Jon stood up and motioned to the other boys to follow them.

- down at the basement -

Kelsey settled into Spencer's drum, hyper, and Esther grabbed one of Ryan's guitars, apologetic to Ryan. Ryan and Spencer smiled at both of them. Luna ran off to get her mic, and Brendon stared at Ryan, obviously annoyed. Jon smiled and plugged in his bass.
Brent just stood there, smirking and sneering at the girls. The girls were laughing at him though.

Luna came back and almost immediantly, the girls and Jon started playing a song.

"Underneath the person
Underneath the surface
Secrets hide like they always do
Waiting for the right time.

Secrets are always there.
Hiding, hurting, causing pain.
But remember, -" Luna sang.

"USE PROTECTION!" Jon and Esther burst out, laughing.

Grinning, Luna goes back to singing, and soon, She stopped, allowing there to be a bass solo, with a little guitar and drum in it.

Soon, the song was over, and it ended up with stupid remarks all over the song, leaving THE SQUIRRELS red faced.

Brendon laughed and clapped his hands, and Ryan smiled. Brent grunted unintelligently, and Spencer clapped, and ran over to hug Kelsey.

"Thank You," Luna shouted.

Jon smiled at Brent, and Brent rolled his eyes.

"NOW ITS YOUR TURN," Esther shouted, giggling at the end.

"Uhmm...I don't know..." Brendon said shyly. Luna went up behind him and pushed him in front of the mic.

"Sing, skinny boy, sing!" she said with a laugh.

"Okay okay...But ours isn't as funny as yours..." he said, looking at Luna.

"Its okay, just GO ALREADY!" she shouted.

"Thats what she said!" Jon said, and Luna laughed.

"That IS what she said, now sing!!" she commanded. The boys sighed and set up their instruments.

"She's not bleeding on the ballroom just for the attention. No that would be ridiculous," he began. Luna was paying rapt attention until the song ended.

She found her gaze focussing on his face and, more specifically, his lips. She hadn't noticed how...pretty...they were. When he finfished, he smiled and her breath was taken away. She rushed upa nd gave him a hig.

"YOU ROCKED!" she said happily. he smiled down at her and there was an awkward silence.

yay! the band began! stupid Brent ruins lives!!
i totally almost forgot about Stella.. poor Brendon

"Awkward...." Ryan whispered loudly. Esther giggled, then covered her mouth. Everything was still silent.

"Ehrm..." Luna said and backed up a bit. Brent started laughing. And Kelsey kicked him in the shin. Then Luna and Brendon started laughing at him. He scowled.

"Well that was fun. Now what?" Brendon asked.

"What was fun?" Luna asked, batting her eyelashes. They all laughed again and sat down comfortably.

"Jon? Feed me!" Ryan said suddenly.

"He needs it," Esther said, pointing at Ryan's belly, or rather, lack of it.

They all laughed and piled into the kitchen for food.
