I sat in New York City on the corner of Westshire and Hayward street. Everybody who walked by took a glimpse of me and shrugged as I sat with my guitar singing "When The Day Met The Night" by my good friends, Panic At The Disco. I first met Spencer when we were partnered up together in Science class. We had to do a few projects together, and over that time, we became really close friends. We would hangout together after school, and go to movies with Ryan along with us. We were always close friends, like siblings; but nothing more. I was the first person he came to after he had foundout that Pete Wentz (FallOutBoy) wanted to sign their band. The whole band is made up of my four best friends in the whole world. Ryan's my advice giver, Brendon's my make-me-laugh-when-I'm-sad person, and Jon's my personal stylist ( don't ask, it'sone of our MANY inside jokes). Spencer? well he's my teddybear. The one person I need to talk to when I'm sad, the one person I need in my life right now because after a long fight with my roommate, I've been kicked out of my appartment. I have nowhere to stay but a cheap motel. And that's why I'm sitting here, busking for money.

When I was finnished the song, I looked into my guitar case to see if anyone had thrown in any money, and I counted $10.25 in total. That was the least ammount of money I had ever gotten from busking on a Friday night, but whatever, I'll just have to try harder next time. As I packed up my guitar, My cellphone rang." Hello?"

"Hey Jess! How's it going?" It was Spencer.

"Hey! Oh well, I was kicked out of my appartment and now I live in a shitty motel paying $15.95 a night. My life is WONDERFUL!" My tone of voice was sarcastic. I heard him laugh quietly on the other side of the line.

"Same old Jess." he laughed again. "Well, anyways, I have a suprise for you. We just got to NYC. We're staying here for a couple shows, then going home for a few weeks to write some more songs. I thought maybe you could visit us for a while. How does that sound?" I slowly smiled.

"That would be great!" I yelled. People who were walking by looked up at me with weird expressions on their faces.

"Okay, good! So where can I come and pick you up?" He asked. I quickly looked around.

"Im standing infront of the Melorium Theatre, on the corner of Westshire and Hayward."

"Okay, I'll be there in a few minutes. See you then!" He turnd off his phone. I wiped off the tiny leaves that were stuck to my ripped jeans. I was excited to see them. I looked down at my dirty black shirt, and put on my grey hoodie to cover it up. A few minutes later, a black car drove up infront of me. The trunk opened and I put my guitar in it. I opened the passenger door and sat down. I fianlly saw that smile that I've been waiting to see. It was Spencer Smith.

JESS! IT'S BEEN SO LONG!" he leaned over and gave my a huge hug. He smelled good, like he always does. As I put on my seatbelt, he continued to smile.

"How's the rest of the guys?" I asked. He looked over at me and laughed.

"They're good. But mainly just tired from all of the shows that we've been doing. Hows...what's his name? Ja-"

"JAKE? Oh god. It ended a while ago. He wasn't treating me very well, so I broke up with him." I looked at Spencer who had stopped smiling and looked rather serious.

"Oh. I-Ididn't mean to-"

"ha ha! It's fine, I'm glad he's gone!" I reassured. He looked over and laughed. We continued to talk about things we've done overthe past while, and we soon pulled up to a fancy looking Hotel.

"Here we are! The guys are really looking forward to visiting you for the next while." We both goto ut of the car. I left my guitar in the trunk because I realized that I wouldnt be needing it. We headed into the empty lobby and went into an elevator with two other people.

"Spencer-Spencer SMITH?" The boy's face beside us light up. He asked Spencer for his autograph, and after he signed a few things we headed down a long hallway. After a minute, we stopped infront of a door. Room number 205. He knockedon the door,but there was no answer.

"That's weird. Maybe they all went out for a few hours. They all know you're here." He took out his room key and unlocked the door. It was a pretty big room. A fridge, giant Television, stove, fireplace, big washroom, and TWO beds.

"Why only TWO beds?" I asked with a funny expression on my face.

"Oh, haha! Me and Ryan are sharing a room. Jon and Brendon's room is across the hall." He threw his keys on the table. "Make yourself at home. We've only been here for a few hours, so we haven't had much time to unpack our suitcases." I sat on the couch. Suddenly, there was a loud knock on the door.

"SPENCE! LET US IN! Is she here? We got a gift for her! SPENCER!" It was Brendon. Spencer went and opened the door just a bit so that they couldn't see in the room.

"Sorry guys, I went to go and pick her up, but she wasn't there." He turned around and winked at me.

"Haha, nice try Spence," Brendon pushed the door open a little further. "she's right there!" Brendon started running towards me, so I stood up. He came right towards me and gave me a huge hug. "We've missed you SO MUCH!" He grinned. When Brendon finally moved out of my way, I could see Ryan and Jon behind him.

"Jessie-Bear!" Ryan shreiked. Him and Jon both came over and hugged me, I felt so happy. I was finally with my four best friends again. We all sat down. Me, Spencer and Jon sat on the couch, (I was between them) and Brendon and Ryan pulled up chairs around the couch so we all sat in a circle.

"Here, we got you something." Jon handed me a gift bag.

"Awwe! Thanks guys! You're so sweet!" I opened the gift bag, and inside there was a picture frame. I looked at it more closley, and realized it was a picture of all of us together. "Thank-you SO much!" I smiled and I could feel tears starting to fill my eyes. It was so amazing.

"You're welcome," Ryan said. "I'm getting kind of hungry, where should we go to eat?" They all looked at eachother.

"I can make you guys something." I said. They all began to roar with laughter. I was confused.

"HAHAHA! That's okay Jessica, we can order room service. Remember last time you cooked us something?" Brendon asked.

"HAHA! That failed attempt of homemade chicken-noodle soup!" Spencer added. I started blushing.

"hey! I worked hard on that soup!" I said, jokingly. They all continued to laugh. After a few minutes, Spencer picked up the phone and Dialed.

"What do you guys want to eat?" Spencer asked.

"I'll have some peperoni pizza" Said Jon

"I want some Vegitarian Lasagna" Said Brendon

"I want some....Deluxe Pizza,please." Said Ryan. Spencer looked at me waiting for a reply.

"Chicken-Noodle soup, please." I said. Everyone laughed, including Spencer. He hung up the phone.

"They'll be here in a few minutes." A few seconds later, his cell phone bagan to ring.

"Nice ringtone," I said, "Now WHO would be calling Spencer James Smith?" I went over to the table and picked up his cell phone.

"Hello, Jessica speaking."

"JESSICA? Who's JESSICA? Is Spencer there?" the voice asked in an angry tone.

"One second, may I ask who's calling?"

"It's Spencer's GIRLFRIEND, Kathryn!"

I could feel my heart beeting as I handed Spence his phone. Since when did Spencer have a girlfriend? The word echoed in my mind. I sat back down on the couch, and Spencer went out of the room to talk on his phone. 'Who was that?' Ryan asked.

"Spencer's..........girlfriend . " I replied.

"Kathryn? I hate that girl! She used to be his girlfriend, but then he found out she was cheating on him while we were on tour." Ryan was being serious. I sighed in relief. I mean, I dont know why I cared about him having a girlfriend so much. Maybe I'm just protective over my friends. I decided not to think about it anymore. A few minutes later, Spencer walked back in through the door. We all just sat there silently looking at him. He put his cellphone back on the table and sat back down beside me and Jon, who were still sitting on the couch.

"Dude, why hell is she still calling you?" Ryan had a disgusted look on his face.

"I don't know. I think she wants me to forgive her, I never will. I thought she loved me. So anyways," He was trying to change the subject. "Anyone want a drink?" He got up off the couch again and headed towards the small kitchen. Everybody said yes, so Spencer got out a bottle of champaigne and five glasses.

"POUR THE CHAMPAIGNE, POUR THE CHAMAGNE!" I sang out.

"Oh Jesus christ. PLEASE don't sing that song. I'm SO sick of it." Brendon laughed. Jon took the bottle and wine glasses out of Spencer's hand and poured the drinks.

"A toast toour friendship!" Ryan announced as he held up his glass. We all joined him and began talking.

"So Jessica, the four of us were talking and wanted to know if you wanted to go back home with us." Spencer said.

"Yeah, and you'll be able to see your family. Plus, the five of us can hang out longer." Brendon added.

"Sure, but I dont know if I can afford-"

"I can pay for your plane ticket. Besides, we're taking our own jet, so it'll be much more fun." Spencer said.

"Awwe, thanks Spencey." I hugged him. For the next few hours, we all continued talking, and after a while I looked at the clock. It was midnight. I began to feel tired so I rested my head on Spencer's shoulder. He put his arm around me which made me feel safe, so I shut my eyes.

awww....but i have the feeling that the bitchy ex will come back and raise hell...
