"10 bucks it'll pop." I looked over at my friend Ryan.

"It's obvious it's going to pop, time limit?"

"I bet...4 minuets, you?"

"5, your on." He spat on his hand and shook mine, thus waiting for the girls shirt to pop.

This is what we did on our spare time. Make bets on random things like this, sitting in the mall, staring at a girls shirt button to pop because it was quite OBVIOUS it was going to bust open.

"What'cha guys doing?" Tobi came over and sat near us.

Tobi was Ryan's "cousin" in a way. Her father was friends with his and they were the closest thing he had to family now and lately they have been hanging out a LOT.

"Nothing." We both replied. She stared into our line of focus and soon caught on.

"It's not going to pop." She bluntly said.

"How do you know?" Ryan turned over to her.

"Because its a spandex shirt thats why." She made a face and then handed him some M&M's.

Whenever I read the name "Tobi" it reminds me of Tobi from Naruto.... as in, "Tobi is a good boy." xD

"Why did you have to say that?" I glared at her.

"Because." She looked over at me and shrugged.

"Joy killer." I mumbled as I took some M&M's from Ryan.

"So is this all you guys are doing for the day?"

"Yup, well, until Spencer and Jon get back." Ryan munched on some more candies.

"From where?"

"I don't know...wherever they are at."

"Well, if you guys aren't doing anything, then I'm going to have to borrow you both for an hour or so." She looked over at me specifically.

"For what?" I glared at her.

"Nothing."

"I'm not doing this." I glared at Tobi.

An hour had passed as we pulled into a haunted house, immediately I knew what she wanted us to do.

"Why not?!" She whined.


"Because each time you want us to do something for you it turns to crap." Ryan stated.

He was right. Yesterday we at dinner with her at some new restaurant and I almost got food poisoning. Last week we went shopping with her and she made us try on HER clothes for some reason, but then again, Ryan DID look good in those lucky brand jeans.

"Come on guys, please?" She gave Ryan puppy dog eyes that I knew he was going to give into.

"Fine. Your coming with me." Ryan took my hand and dragged me out the door.


-2 hours later-

"I hate you so much." I glared at Ryan.

"Shut up."

It was dark and the house was in business.

"Alright guys, people are coming." Tobi looked at us and dropped down. Ryan laughed.

"RAWR!!!" All three of us popped out behind the corner scaring a little girl, making 5 adults laugh.

"Your not scary!" A little boy from the group said and kicked my leg.

"Jimmy!" His mother yelled.

"It's fine lady, he gets it all the time." Ryan told the lady. Everyone laughed, but me.

"Hey, you sound familiar, I think I know you...Take your mask off." A teenager asked Ryan. We both knew if he did, there would be screaming, and not the type we were suppose to create.

"Uh, he can't. That IS his face." I told the girl and took off with him to the corner.

"Fuck you." Ryan took off his mask and glared at me. I laughed at him.

"That's just the beginning. You were lucky that girl didn't recognize really, otherwise it would have been an all out teenie fest." I told him.

"Why do we have to work here in the FIRST place?" I looked over at Tobi. She was gone.

"What the hell?! Even SHE ditched the place!" I yelled at Ryan.

"I get your point Bren. Come on and lets find her."

cool! haunted houses scare me spitless though. at least the one i went to last halloween. my mom's friend's bf did most of the makeup and it was scary as hell.

though there were some funny parts when i looked around and said what came to mind and it sounded like i wasn't scared...like there was this hall that was black and white striped and i said "Oh look, we're in a piano" and at another point there was a 'werewolf' and there was 'blood' all over his clothes and i said "you sir, are a messy eater"
