Just so you know, me and Angie( Pandacutie161) are both writing this, so she posts and i post

Chapter 1:

****7th grade****

"Hey Angie!"Angie is my best friend, and she was sitting with our 4 other friends, Ryan, Jon, Brendon, and Spencer at the lunch table. We met last year, the boys came from a different elementary school. We became good friends after having a bunch of classes with them. Angie has been my best friend since kindergarten. We did everything together. Spencer, Brendon, Jon, and Ryan are typical skater kids, except Brendon, who is like a skater-nerd, but we still love him.

I sat down next to Angie and looked down on my tray.
"The food sucks," Ryan wasnt glad with what he was poking at
"I KNOW! and im HUNGRY!" Brendon said with a sad face.
"Hey whats up guys?" I said, trying to get their attention off their food.
"The sky, duhh," Jon said sarcastically
"HAHA, your funny," Ryan rolled his eyes
" Happy Friday!" I said enthusiastically
"How come your so happy?" asked Brendon.
"I dunno, its just a happy day!"
I dont really know why I was so happy. My life is pretty basic. I live in a middle class neighborhood in a middle class house with middle class friends. I guess my life isnt totally normal, my parents are divorced, i guess thats normal, but my moms an alchaholic.
"We can go to my house tonite?!" i asked
"Umm, wouldnt your mom be kinda pissed if she found us?" Spencer asked
"Nahh, she probally will come home really late and wasted, and yell at me, then pass out in her room, so no worries," i said, with a practical smile on my face. Im not really embarrased about talking about my mom, just dealing with her. I pretty much take care of myself, i make my own meals, help myself with my homework, etc.
"Yea, you guys can come at like... 6.. or something,"
"Ight!" Said Brendon, trying to act cool

LOVE it! Is Ryan taken? If not, can I have him?

***Ryan’s POV***
I met Angie and Maddie last year. They seemed really cool so me and Bren introduced them to Spencer and Jon.
“Man, I totally failed that test!” I was telling my friends at my lunch table about the science test, and Maddie came over. We started to talk and she said that we can go chill at her place. She said that her mom wouldn’t be bothering us. Her moms an alcoholic, and she talks about her like she doesn’t care what condition she’s in. I wish I can do that. My dads an alcoholic too, but I don’t tell anyone. I hate him. I hate going home. I hate dealing with him. I wish he never drank.



****Me*****

Angela came home with me after school. We were talking and listening to music. I didn’t really care what to wear tonight, since they where all my friends, and they’ve seen me at my worst. I just changed into soccer shorts.
“How come you aren’t changing into something…ya know…Nice?” Angie asked
“I dunno, there’s really no point,”
“Okay, well, what are we gonna do?”
“I don’t know maybe we can walk to a restaurant or something?”
I lived in a neighborhood were a shortcut can take you pretty much anywhere. There’s Walgreens, Mexican food, Chinese, Dominos, Publix, a park, pretty much anything. There’s even a Dog washing place.
“Call them and tell them to bring money! I cant pay for them again!” I yelled
“Alright, fine”

The doorbell rang. Why do they still use that thing? They know that they can just walk in. I ran down the stairs and opened the door. They weren’t alone….
