The foul stench of old beer cans and rusty metal wafted through the interior of an old compact car as it drifted slowly down a dark road in the middle of the night. The four passengers sat silently, staring at the eyes of one another as they all pondered the task at hand. The driver of the old vehicle carefully weaved towards the edge of a sandy desert dune and pulled the car to a halt. With a heaving sigh one of the passengers took a small case from his side and pushed his door open, stepping out onto the gritty path. His dark tennis shoes made scratchy, crunching noises in the pavement as he trotted towards another man who was already waiting nearby. He held out the case and opened it up, revealing about one-hundred thousand in United States bills. His cohort nodded and passed a black leather brief case to him. The man set the case with the money down and examined the contents of the briefcase, then passed the money to finish the transaction.

"I suppose it has everything that you wanted?" asked the man who had just received the large amount of money.

"It has enough," replied the man now in possession of the briefcase. "Nice doing business with you."

"As always," said the other man with a nod as he walked towards his empty car.

"Won't they ever learn?" he whispered to himself, running a hand towards his back pocket in search of certain item.

"Oh, by the way," the man with the money began, quickly turning around. "You might want to look out for... what are you doing?"

"Sorry, Sammy," smirked the man with the briefcase as he ripped a knife out of his back pocket and chucked it into the stomach of his enemy. "You know how it is."

The other man fell to the ground with a thud, blood pouring from the wound in his side. He stared up at the man with the briefcase and muttered a few last curses as a boot hit him across the face. It was one of the others from the car. He grabbed the briefcase from his co-worker and started back towards the vehicle.

"Brent's already taken care of the driver," he said as he pushed a pair of dark sunglasses up on his face. "We should get home before your parents begin to suspect something."
