Chapter 4 - Part One

I arrived at Caleb’s house which was about 15 minutes from mine and looked at the clock, 10:40, I was 20 minutes early. “Oh well, Caleb shouldn’t mind.” I thought as I cut the engine once I parked on the Turmans’ driveway.

Walking up to the front door, I pressed the doorbell. A couple seconds later, Mrs. Turman answered it.

“Why hello Tiffany!” Mrs. Turman said, greeting me.

I smiled. “Hey Mrs. Turman.”

“Caleb’s in the shower, but please, come in,” Mrs. Turman said, stepping aside so I could walk in. Before I could thank her, Caleb appeared at the top of the stairs wearing a white and orchid tab t-shirt and dark wash skinny jeans. His red hair didn’t seem wet at all; he probably just got done straightening it after he got out of the shower.

Mrs. Turman looked at the two of us before saying, “Well, I’ll let just let you two be,” and walked off.

Caleb quickly made his way down the stairs and pulled me into a hug before kissing me. “Hey.”

“Hi.” I replied, with a smile.

“What do you wanna do?” Caleb asked.

“Movie in your room?” I suggested.

“Alright.” Caleb replied, raising his eyebrows up and down.

I laughed before grabbing his outstretched hand and we walked up the stairs to his room hand in hand.

Later, we were up in his room watching the Princess Diaries (he wasn’t too happy about my movie suggestion, but agreed) from his bed. I was curled up in his arms.

“I’m still confused as to why I agreed to watch this with you.” Caleb mused.

“Because you love me.” I said with a smug grin. Caleb laughed. “Besides, don’t you
think the movie’s cute?”

“I guess it is somewhat cute, but no movie or person will ever be as cute as you.” Caleb said, meeting my lips with his.

“GROSS!” we heard someone exclaim. It was Caleb’s little brother.

Caleb throw an extra pillow at the door. “You little punk, get out!” Caleb said, 25 percent annoyed, 75 percent amused.

Caleb’s little brother stuck his tongue out and laughed on his way out.

After the movie, we agreed on watching The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Later, Caleb and I had a late lunch in the patio. Once we finished, we relaxed a little before I decided to go.

“I’ll see you later.” I murmured. We were standing on his front doorstep and he was holding me close.

“Mmhmm,” Caleb murmured, pressing his lips to mine. “I’ll call you later.”

“Alright then.” I said.

“I love youuuu.” I added, kissing him one last time before I turned to leave.

“I love you too,” Caleb said with a laugh, waving me goodbye.

I got in my 2006 black Audi A8 (a gift for my 16th birthday) and started the car. About 15 minutes later, I was back at home. I looked at the dashboard, it was 4:05.
