Chapter Four:
Kacey’s POV “BRRRRRINNNGGGG!” My laptop yelled when I woke up. Who could possibly be instant messaging me this early in the morning? I sat up in my bed in the hotel room that I went to last night. I didn’t want to sleep in the new house until everything was set. BrendonUrie: Did I wake you up? I should have known better… KaceyJohnson: Yes you did… BrendonUrie: Good; now you know how I felt yesterday. KaceyJohnson: Alright Mr. Grammar… BrendonUrie: So now we are calling each other names? What bit you in the butt today? KaceyJohnson: The mattress in my hotel room. This sucks. I will have everything moved in by tonight though for sure…What are you going to be up to today? BrendonUrie: I am searching for houses…preferably one near the rest of the guys because Spencer and Ryan moved two months ago. It was funny. They didn’t actually move into the houses for three months because they brought a designer in and used the same one. You could help me right? KaceyJohnson: With? BrendonUrie: Designing my new house. KaceyJohnson: I haven’t even met you yet. How do you expect me to help you design things? BrendonUrie: I haven’t thought that out yet. But we will meet eventually… KaceyJohnson: Oh wow, you’re an amazing stalker Mr. Urie… BrendonUrie: There you go again with the names. That hurts Ms. Name Caller KaceyJohnson: You fail Brendon Urie. I have to go now. I am going back to my house now if I want to sleep there tonight. BrendonUrie: Alright. I’ll miss you Kacey Johnson. KaceyJohnson: I’ll miss you too Brendon Urie. I signed out and rolled out of bed. Groggily I walked towards the door with my backpack holding my laptop. The sun was just beginning to show itself from the horizon and I checked out and drove to the house. The ride was practically silent, mainly because I didn’t have coffee in my system. When I got out of the car I immediately walked inside and unpacked. Even though it took me all day, I finished. Everything had its home. A smile of satisfaction appeared on my face as I took a shower and lay down in bed. It finally felt like home to me. I have a friend, job, and a house to sleep in. What else did I need?
