CHAPTER 3:
The cross dresser just glares at Gabe for a second, holding his now almost empty smoothie cup so tightly Gabe thinks it’s going to break in half. “Actually,” the cross dresser says, hissing through his teeth, “Take the rest!” Then the cross dresser throws the rest of the smoothie at Gabe, the blue drink spilling all over him. It makes the rest of the food court look at them and Gabe can hear Alex cackling in the background.

Gabe takes a few more napkins and gets the smoothie off of him, just as the cross dresser is walking away towards the nearest exit. Gabe runs after him, yelling, “Hold on!” The cross dresser walks fast, practically sprinting (which is pretty impressive for a guy wearing heels). Gabe eventually catches up to him, running in front of him and keeping him away from the exit. The cross dresser looks even more pissed and eventually stops trying to get through to the exit.

“What the hell are you doing, asshole? Are you stalking me or something?” The cross dresser puts his hands on his hips and scowls, but it only makes him look more like a girl and it doesn’t scare Gabe. Except Gabe’s hands cover his groin and he keeps his eyes on those heels. Because really.

“I just,” Gabe starts; he glances down at the high heels again, “I wanted to say that I’m sorry for calling you a girl, okay?”

The cross dresser glares at Gabe but his scowl is gone and his hands have left their place on his hips. Gabe feels that his genitals are safe for one more day. The cross dresser looks him over, makes a, “hmf, whatever,” before walking away

“Wait, wait,” Gabe runs after him. He seriously cannot leave this guy alone until he at least knows the cross dresser’s name. Gabe can see the people give them odd looks but he doesn’t care. “Dude, can I just ask you your name or something?”

The cross dresser looks at Gabe wide eyed and serious. “Okay, you are stalking me, aren’t you? You’re going to follow me home and rape me.”

Gabe blinks and realizes that hey, he kinda is stalking this kid (because this guy is too young to be a man). But Gabe shakes his head, “No, no, sorry. I don’t do that. I’m more of an alleyway person.” Gabe thinks that sounds so creepy once he’s said it, but the cross dresser cracks a smile. Gabe has to say, a smile looks very nice on the boy’s face.

“Oh I see,” the cross dresser says. Gabe still notices the annoyance in his eyes –which are a lovely brown by the way – but it seems to be disappearing. “Well, stalker or not, you owe me a smoothie.” Gabe barks out a laugh. The boy who was probably going to castrate him merely moments before is now asking Gabe to buy a drink for him?

“Okay, but can I get a name first?” Gabe asks, wiggling his fingers at his side. He doesn’t really know where to put his hands right now. The cross dressers, still smiling, walks over next to Gabe and laces his arm with Gabe’s own. He lays his head on Gabe shoulder and they start walking.

“You’re lucky that you’re cute,” the cross dresser whispers, barely audible above the sound of other people hustling about. Gabe can feel his face warm up. He really, actually thinks Gabe’s cute? “Or I would have totally left you there. Oh and by the way -” The two stop in front of the smoothie shop William leaning into Gabe like a hug, “My name’s William,” he whispers, breath tickling Gabe’s ear. It takes all of Gabe’s strength to notice William’s hand is slipping into his pocket and not the fact that William’s other hand is slipping under his shirt.

William pulls out a five dollar bill. He turns and walks away, calling a “thanks, babe,” over his shoulder and walking to the smoothie line. Gabe is kinda pissed off. All of that so that the cross dresser William sexysexyWilliam could get a smoothie? Gabe looks down at his feet when he sees that William struts in the opposite direction. Gabe can swear he can still hear Alex in the background, cackling. It doesn’t make Gabe feel any better.
