so i've been busy over these past few weeks or month, however long it's been, but i'm ready to restart my fanfic.
just like mushu, this fanfic lives again. for those of you who haven't seen it, i'll repost the prologue for you and in the meantime, i'll be writing the first chapter. -------------------- Prologue It was a nice sunny day, perfect weather for the beach. The sun shone on everything below it, which included the ocean water. Oh how lovely it looked – so blue and sparking like diamonds. We were at our secret spot on the beach, which had to be pretty secret seeing as we were the only two there. Not that that was a bad thing…after all, some privacy between a boy and girl is pretty nice. We had just eaten lunch and now lay on a mat where we were shielded from the sun’s rays under an umbrella. Oh, who’s “we”? “We” would be me, Tiffany, and my boyfriend, Brendon. Our hands were intertwined and we were just enjoying the tranquility of our secret spot. The previous hours of the day consisted of waking up early, packing our now eaten lunch, watching the sunrise, walking around all the stores and restaurants, eating breakfast, rollerblading, and well…here we were now. I looked over at Brendon and wondered what he was thinking. He was wearing board shorts, no shirt, and his black sunglasses with the blue border and I started giggling, they reminded me of something a little kid would wear. Brendon glanced over at me and then sat up, I did the same. He raised an eyebrow at me and asked, “What’s so funny?” “Oh, your sunglasses just remind me of a little kid’s,” I replied. “Oh really? At least I don’t look like a bug in my sunglasses!” he said. “Heyyy!” I said, pretending to be offended. Brendon leaned over and planted a soft kiss on my lips, pulling away to say, “Oh Tiffany, I’m just kidding.” We sat again in peaceful silence, our hands still intertwined. We were both looking out at the ocean. Brendon looked over at me and broke the silence, “What are you thinking about?” Before I responded, I rested my head on his chest to which he wrapped his arms around me. I yawned a bit, “I was thinking about how a nap would be nice considering how early we woke up,” I said, smiling at him, “and about the first time we met.” Brendon smiled back at me, evidently thinking back to that day too. “I remember that day so clearly. Sweet dreams Tiffany, I’ll be right here waiting for you when you wake up,” he said. “I love you Brendon,” I told him. “I love you too Tiffany,” Brendon said, kissing the top of my head as my eyes slowly shut like a dimmer switch. Chapter 1
So, at the moment, I’m 21 (as of April 26 this year) and am majoring in Chemistry at Brown University. That makes me a Junior at Brown. I usually learn on my own from books for my classes and just email my assignments to my professors. Why not just live on campus and attend classes? Well, most of the time, I’m usually spending time with Brendon, whether it’s on tour or off. Not only is he my boyfriend, he’s one of my best friends, and I love spending time with him. But enough about the present, our focus is on the past. As I drifted off to sleep, it was like I was falling into a pensieve to watch some of my high school years and some of my college years. Pensieve? I guess that had to do with the fact that I had been watching Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire yesterday. Brendon was right, watching that would affect my way of thinking for a bit. Now, I take you back to 2004. At the time, I was a Junior, soon to be Senior at Palo Verde High School. I wasn’t the most popular girl in school, but I guess you could say I was quite well known and had many friends. I wasn’t perfect, I just tried my best and made mistakes from time to time. I wasn’t exactly the sweetest, there were times my claws would come out. Basically, I was just your normal teenage girl trying to get through high school and make some great friends and good memories while at it. I liked to read, shop, hang out with my friends, and even listen to music occasionally. One day, I walked through the cafeteria doors on my way to meet my friends and I couldn’t help but overhear a conversation 4 guys were having. They were rather dorky and gangly looking and were talking about starting their own band. Curiosity got the best of me and I helped myself to a seat before asking them, “So you guys are starting a band? What’s it gonna be called?” One of the boys, who wore glasses, answered, “It’s gonna be called Panic at the Disco, you know, from that song, ‘Panic’ by Name Taken.” I had heard of Name Taken, but I’d never listened to any of their songs, so I nodded like I understood perfectly…even though I didn’t. “I’m Brendon, Brendon Urie,” said the boy wearing the glasses as he introduced himself, “and this is Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and Brent Wilson.” “It’s nice to meet you, I’m Tiffany Clark.” I said, as I introduced myself. “So, since you guys are starting a band, maybe I could watch you practice one day?” “Sure,” replied Brendon. “How about today after school? Spencer’s grandma lets us practice in her living room.” I quickly scrolled through my mind to make sure I didn’t have plans, I didn’t…at least I was pretty sure. And if I did, I could always cancel them. “That sounds great!” I replied, “I’ll follow you guys in my car after school or something.” “Sounds like a plan then.” Brendon said, with a smile. The bell rang and it meant lunch was over. I was surprised I spent so much time talking to the 4 of them. I slung my book and binder filled Abercrombie tote bag onto my left arm as I stood up. “Well…it was nice meeting and talking to you guys. I’ll see you later.” I said. And with that, I headed to my next class, anxiously waiting for the end of the day. Just when I thought I couldn’t take it any longer, the bell that dismissed us rang and I bolted out of my classroom, realizing that I just left behind a couple of my friends. Oops, I’ll call them tonight or something. I met up with the 4 of them again and followed them the way to Spencer’s grandma’s house. The drive wasn’t too bad; I figured I could probably drive on my own next time. For the next hour, I watched them practice and I was speechless. They were really good! “Wow…that was great you guys!” I exclaimed. “Thanks,” they all replied, Brendon even blushing a little. “You guys should get a PureVolume site or something, I’m sure if more people hear about you, you’ll be the next big thing!” I said. I glanced at the clock and was again shocked at the time. Time sure flew by whenever I spent it with Brendon, Ryan, Spencer, and Brent. “Well, I should be going. I’ll see you tomorrow though!” I said as I made my way out the door. “Bye!” they all called after me. Throughout the year, I started spending a lot more time with Brendon, Ryan, Spencer, and Brent. I was starting to become really close with Brendon, Ryan, and Spencer. Brent however, I kept my distance from. He was nice and all, but he wasn’t exactly the warm and friendly type. Many people were baffled at the fact that I was hanging out with them seeing as how different we were. I was well known and had lots of friends, and they were…well, the “losers” of our school. I didn’t care though. Eventually the end of the year came. I would miss the 4 of them and my other friends also, but knew I would see them again in the fall. Right? Wrong. My dad’s company wanted him to work in a California office, so our family packed up and would be moving to Newport Beach, California. My parents had already found a house near the beach there. I was devastated. On the last day, I said my goodbyes to everyone and made them promise to keep in touch. The last person I said goodbye to was Brendon. Out of Ryan, Spencer, and Brent, I was definitely the closest to Brendon. I was sobbing a bit as we hugged one last time. “Go and become famous for me. Promise me that you will. God, I’ll miss you so much.” I said, in between sobs. I knew Brendon Urie would be someone I would never forget, and seeing as what happened the next year, I could definitely never forget him. -------------------- Remember to leave comments if you like it or are reading it. I'll try and update soon after this. |

I love it. I'm like posting on all the fanfics oh well . . . UPDATE!!! I was adopted by Anniebeth! I adopted Maggs, Tiffany, Laura, Bickle, Nikko,BdenIsLove, valence, and PanicMeetThePress915. Taylor is my twin, and Bethany, Colorful Daydream And Kendra are my grandnewbs. <3 Official Parader Rachel owns more than I do. You better hold you teddy bear close and your scandulous Rydon tape closer, because when this chick hits your house, you'll know it. That potato you were saving for dinner? She unfed it. That Gabilliam tape? She stole it. Watch out, because Spinho's coming to town, and it ain't gonna' be a thing like Santa Claus. RIP Phantom Planet |

remember to comment if you like it or are reading it! -------------------- Chapter 2 The next year…2005. I’m a Senior this year, which means I’m also graduating from high school, Class of 2005. Rightfully, I should be a senior at Palo Verde, but instead, at Corona Del Mar High School. But unfortunately, there was nothing I could do about it. Although I was 18, which made me an adult, I couldn’t just go out on my own yet. There was the issue of finding a place to live and making sure that I had enough to support myself. And with a part time job at Abercrombie, I doubt I could support myself. In a heartbeat though, I would give anything to be back in Nevada. Now, I could’ve moped about not being Nevada (which I admit, I did for a bit), but I decided to try and cope as well as I could. I made a lot of great new friends who welcomed me and accepted me even though I was “the new girl”. They were the people I hung out with at school and even out of school. We spent many of our afternoons going to the beach or chilling at the mall. I swear I became so tan from going to the beach so much. I got through the year with these people and made great memories with them. Soon, I even stopped moping about not being in Nevada. I was actually starting to be fine with living in California? Wow. Eventually, June came around…which meant graduation. One by one, names were called up and we each walked across the stage, shook some hands, and was handed our diploma. The next thing I knew, my name was called. As I walked across the stage and shook hands, I couldn’t help but wonder what or when graduation was at Palo Verde. “Congratulations,” Mr. Scott, my principal said, as he handed me my diploma. “Thank you,” I replied with a forced smile. Soon, all the names were called and we were done. I was now officially done with high school. Outside, I met up with my friends and said my goodbyes. We all promised to keep in touch, although, I had a feeling it wouldn’t happen. After all, I hadn’t been able to keep in touch with anyone from Palo Verde. One friend of mine, Irene, I knew I would not be saying goodbye forever too. We were both planning on going to USC next fall. My summer consisted of spending time at the beach/mall with my friends before fall came, working a part time job at Abercrombie, or just lounging around the house reading or swimming. Not too bad as far as summers went, seeing as I still got to hang out with my friends before we went off to college. I did have the idea of going to Nevada for the summer as a family vacation, but my parents shot it down without even considering it. They claimed “It would bring back too many memories.” Ugh, parents. Fall came and Irene and I were ready to tackle USC. As if it couldn’t get any better that we were both going, we were both going to be roommates. So with our cars loaded with boxes (we really did have a lot of stuff to bring), we drove up to USC to set up our dorm. I was majoring in Chemistry and she was majoring in Engineering. We usually saw each other on the way to classes, whenever we were both in the dorm, or if we were hanging out with each other. College life wasn’t that bad. One day, I was lying on my bunk reading a book (The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton – it’s an easy read, but it’s my favorite book) and Irene came in looking very excited. It wasn’t until she said, “Hey Tiffany, can you do me a favor?” that I put the book down. “What’s this favor you ask of?” I inquired. “Well, I have two tickets to the Nintendo Fusion Tour for October 27th at the Wiltern in Los Angeles and the favor is that…I want you to go with me!” Irene replied. “And if I don’t want to?” I asked, I would’ve gone with Irene anyway just because she bought the ticket, but I liked to give her a difficult time sometimes. Not that she ever considered it “difficult.” “That’s too bad then, because I’ll just kidnap you.” Irene said. “What if I’m busy writing an essay for a class?” I asked. “You’re not because I know that any essays you need to get done are already done and turned in.” Irene replied back cockily. “Fine, fine,” I said. “YAY!” Irene screamed, rather loudly. The next thing I knew, she was suffocating me in a bear hug and saying “Thank you” over and over again. October 27th came and Irene wanted to get to the venue early so we would get a good spot in the pit. I was obligated to go along with her early in the morning. “Remind me how I let you drag me into this?” I asked with a groan. I wasn’t necessarily tired, but waiting in line for hours wasn’t my idea of great. “Because you looooove me!” Irene said with a laugh, “Besides, when we get barricade, waiting in line this early will be sooooo worth it.” I sighed, oh the way Irene can be sometimes. I knew it was gonna be a long wait, so I brought a book with me to read (Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, it can be a difficult read, but I don’t find it too challenging). Right as I opened the book, Irene grabbed my arm. I swear she could’ve cut off my blood circulation. “OMG, IT’S ONE OF THE GUYS FROM PANIC AT THE DISCO!” Irene whisper shouted into my ear. “Ouch, let go.” I hissed. Suddenly, what she said hit me. Panic At The Disco? “Come onnnnn! Let’s go over and talk to him!” Irene impatiently said as she grabbed my arm to drag me along. As I was being dragged along by my own free will or against it, I wasn’t sure, I asked a bit nervously, “Um, what did you say his name was again?” |

here's another chapter. it's not too long, rather short actually. i promise the next one will be longer haha.
-------------------- Chapter 3 “I didn’t,” Irene said, still pulling me, “but his name’s Brendon, Brendon Urie. He’s like…our age.” “So you guys are starting a band? What’s it gonna be called?” “It’s gonna be called Panic at the Disco, you know, from that song, ‘Panic’ by Name Taken.” “You guys should get a PureVolume site or something, I’m sure if more people hear about you, you’ll be the next big thing!” “Go and become famous for me. Promise me that you will. God, I’ll miss you so much.” Memories of Junior year at Palo Verde scrolled through my mind like pictures on a digital camera. We were closer to approaching Brendon and I was in shock. I always had a feeling that Panic At The Disco would be famous, but this couldn’t be my Brendon. No, no, they must’ve replaced him with a different Brendon. This Brendon did not look anything like my Brendon. My Brendon was dorky, gangly, and wore glasses. This Brendon wore no glasses and was well…attractive. I mean, I never found my Brendon attractive, I just always considered him nothing more than one of my best friends. So these two Brendons were different right? “Hey Brendon!” Irene said with a wave. “Hey,” Brendon replied as he walked over to us. “I’m Irene and this is my friend Tiffany,” Irene said. “she’s a little bit shy,” Irene added with a wink. I covered my face with my hand as I turned 3546135 shades of red (and trust me, I hardly ever turn red). Brendon laughed and said, “Well it’s nice to meet you two.” “I can’t wait to see you guys tonight! I made Tiffany wake up early in the morning so we could be the first people in line. We, well I mostly, wanted barricade.” Irene said. “I’ll be looking for you two in the crowd then,” Brendon said with a smile. “See you around Brendon!” Irene said. Irene and I turned to leave until I heard, “Tiffany, can we talk?” This message has been edited. Last edited by: tiffany blews., |
