Kelly dreamed. She dreamed of the stars, the

mystical beings of her land, and mostly, she

dreamed of humans. The elf's dreams had been

mainly focused on them for weeks. Why? She

didn't know. Was it her wish of one day meeting

one? Was her jealosy of them, the one she had

hid for so many weeks? She really had no idea.

She awoke with a sharp pain in one side.

Opening her eyes drowsily, she stared into the

eyes of her unicorn Azure staring into her

eyes, her silver horn poking her side. Her blue

eyes were concerned. Snorting, she tossed her

mane, made of pure silver hair, off her face.

"You are troubled, my friend" a voice said in

her head. Kelly sighed and shook her head. "I'm

not." she assured her friend. "Well, anyway,

your mother said it's time for breakfast."

Azure said calmly in her mind. Kelly groaned,

and got up to mount Azure, but soon sank to the

floor again, her face as pale as paper, her

hands cold as ice.
