Chapter 3

18.10.09 Sunday morning 1:30am. Ryan.

It was 1:30 am when Ryan’s plane landed, returning him back to the city he had begun to fear.
On the long drive home he was sure there was a pair of headlights trailing him, his heart pounded in his chest; no one ever comes this way especially at this hour. About 2 kilometers from his reclusive home the car appeared to pull over, Ryan’s fear momentarily subsided.
The wind was howling through the large pine trees, forcing any snow left on branches to be flung to the ground.


When Ryan got inside his house he set all 5 of burglar alarms and cautiously checked each room bearing a ready handgun.
Ryan was being stalked. It had been going on for about 6 months: although this time it didn’t seem to be a crazy fan girl like his last stalker.
The last threat he received before his two week holiday was a typed noted in his letterbox
“I’ll be coming for you soon, Ryan.
I know everything. I won’t stop until I HAVE everything.
Do you know how hard it is for me to contain myself? When I imagine it?
Why must there be so many ways to kill?
I’m like a kid in a candy store. And you’re a sitting duck.”
When he showed it to the police they told him to arm himself with a hand gun when at home and that it was probably only an angry ex-fan who is still heated about the split.
Ryan was ready to pour himself a bourbon when there were three slow knocks to the front door.

i would try to write up more, but im being yelled at to go to bed lol.
