"It's these substandard Motels"

"I got a flush boys! Read 'em and weep" shouted an extremely drunk man that just won a game."Hey call Joshua down, He's gotta get a load of this!" shouted the man again. "Please, if we had a dollar for every time he turned us down for work we would be rich men."Said a short man at the table."Its worth a try though." He exclaimed.*RIING RIIIIING-Click!* "Hello?"said Joshua on the phone."Hey Joshy boy come play some poker with us! We're right across the street at the bar.C'mon everyone wants you down here!"The short man called into the phone."I guess I can get out of here and have a couple of beers, alright I'll be over in 3 minutes."Joshua said.*Click!* "He's coming down boys!!!!!!" Yelled the short man.

-30 minutes later-

"Where the HELL is that man?" exclaimed the short man. "Call him again you moron!" said an older gentleman at the table. "I already called him ten times!"snapped the short man."Maybe there was a break in........he does work at a bank."said the older man. "Yeah your right, I'll call the police..." said the short man in a shaky voice.


I was awoken by an annoying ring.*RING RING RIIIIIING* "Ughhh why today, the one day I have to myself and there's already another job?"*Click*"Spencer here, whats up?" I said into the phone with a "I really don't wanna be talking to you right now" kind of tone."Spencer? Are you awake? This is Chief Rockwell, you better be up!" He shouted into my ear."If I was asleep I wouldnt be talking to you now would I chief?" I said sarcastically. "Listen Spence, theres been a murder down in the bank facility, I need you to get down here ASAP. You hear me? No slacking. Your my best detective Spencer, you would be better if you could move a little quicker."He said into the phone with his gruff voice. "Are you STILL talking?" I said drowzily after waking up from a mini-nap.(which took place during everything Chief just said to me)"GODDAMNIT SPENCER, JUST GET YOUR ASS DOWN TO THE FIRST NATIONAL BANK DOWN ON FREMONT STREET" He screamed into the phone. "ok let me get my attention then you could repeat that."I said sarcastically.*Beep* He hung up on me. It looks like another day at the scene."Drama" isn't the right word, but its the first word that comes to mind.
