Hayden's POV

The house was a complete and utter mess. Everyone was so angry at each other since we found out that William loves Candy and stuff.
Luckily, I've been in my room half the time with my baby boy.
Right now I'm lying on my bed, cradeling Bryan in my arms, thinking about how fucked up the whole Candy/William/Hayley situation is. I sigh as my baby starts crying, indicating that he's hungry. I reach for the bottle beside my bed and take it, then move it to his eager mouth.
I watch him suck on it and suddenly that gives me very dirty thoughts. What? I can't help it. I haven't had any action since Candy came, and I can't stop myself from feeling a little horny.

"Hay?" I hear the door opening and someone calling my name. I look up to see Brenny standing there, smiling gently. We were both prisoners in our room ever since all the fighing began.
"Hey" I smile. He closes the door and crawls next to me on the bed.
"Hey baby" he leans in and takes my lips in a soft kiss, then pulls back and kisses Bryan's forhead. "How's my little one going?" he cooes. I chuckle.
"He's good" I answer with a smile. He sighs and runs his fingers in my hair.
"Oh man, you don't even want to go down there. It's horrible" he groans. I frown.
"Why can't this house ever be calm? There always has to be something going on" I sigh.
"Yea, but it would be so boring around here without all the drama" he chuckled. He was actually right. We were used to all the drama, that I don't think we would've survived without it.

I feel Bryan stop sucking on the bottle and look down to see that he fell asleep.
"Aww look at him" I smile in awe. I still can't believe that this is our little baby boy. He takes Bryan from my hands and lays him down in his crib next to our bed.
He lies down next to me and wraps his arms around my waist to bring me closer to him.
I smile and nuzzle my face in his neck, taking in the sweet scent. Our moment of silence is interrupted when we heard the loud yelling of someone bickering downstairs.
"Mmm...shutup" I yawn and mumble as I close my eyes. I feel him chuckling above me.
"Shh..just ignore them" he whispers and kisses the top of my head, then starts playing with my hair. I tune out the noises comming from downstairs and fall asleep against him.

William's POV

I didn't really know what to say. It's hard to admit you want to leave your family when you're holding your six month old son in your arms.

"I-uh,"

"Bill, you want to marry her... just make it easier." I bit my lip and nodded.

"I-I want a divorce..." I can't even look at her but I almost feel worse looking at Fenix.

"Alright..." Her voice sounds so weak and I've never known her to be like this. She's always been so strong. She took after Holli, always wanting to be the ring leader in this crazy life. "Ummm, I can call a lawyer tomorrow if you want." My stomach sinks as her voice cracks and I know she's crying. I just nod again.

"I st-t-still want to see the kids Hay..." I whisper and look up at her. She has her arms crossed tightly, like it's the only thing holding her together, and honestly, that might be the case.

"Y-yeah I know... I-I don't want Taylor to hate you... and Fenix is going to need a dad." She shutters and I notice she's wearing one of my hoodies. I wince and lay my son down in his crib. I look at her and push her hair gently behind her ears. I stroke her cheek and lean in to give her a soft kiss. Our lips meet and she leans in slightly. I pull away and nuzzle my nose against hers. She needed something and that's all I can offer. She opens her eyes and looks at me. That's when I have to wrap my arms around her because that's the point when she finally does fall apart and can't keep herself together.

Candy's POV

I smile as I walk into the house. I've pretty much successfully blocked out Jake's word and I'm eager to tell William about practice.

"Bill!" I call out. I walk into the living room where Brendon and Ryan are snuggled close together, looking happy in the first time in a while.

"Last I saw him Hun, he was upstairs." Ryan smiles. I nod and rush up the stairs.

"William?" I call out and in one of the room I hear a voice.

"Shhh what is it Candy?" I spin and look in the nursery. William is sitting on the ground, Hayley fast asleep with her head in his lap. His fingers are tangled in her hair and I feel my heart drop. All of jake's advice comes back to me at once.

"I-ummm I can come back?" I mutter, tears filling my eyes. He shakes his head.

"Go in your room, I'll wake her up in a sec. I just don't think she's going to like knowing you're the reason she has to get up." I nod and rush into my room. I wipe back tears and he comes in a few moments later.

"Hey..." I mutter, not even hiding the fact that I was crying.

"Sorry about that... we were talking and she got really upset... what could I do ya know?" He smiles and gently wipes tears from my check before kissing me passionately.

"Alright," I pant and smile between his kisses. Before we go much farther I push him away. "Practice was wonderful!" He laughs and plays with my hair.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah! We did great, I mean we messed up a few times but for our first try that's great right?" He nods and kisses me again.

"Absolutely amazing, Love..." We start kissing again and I giggle into his lips. I love when he's like this.

Jake’s POV

Gah, I’m finding it so hard to actually try to be mean to Candy. I mean she’s such a sweet girl. And I like this band, I mean, it’s fun and we’re really good. It gives me a new purpose. I don’t know if I really want to hur.t Candy anymore.

My sidekick buzzes and I check and see I have a text.

From: Amber

Message:
Jake. Meet us at McDonald’s at 5. We’ll eat and Garrett wants to show Candy some lyrics.

Candy’s POV

Me and William are still making out on my bed but then my iphone buzzes. I glance at it and I have a new text.

From: Amber

Message:
Candy. Meet us at McDonald’s at 5. We’ll eat and Garrett has some new lyrics for you.

I smile to myself. Then I check my watch. It’s four-thirty. I look at Will, “Bilvy, I gotta get ready. I have to meet Amber, Garrett and Jake at McDonalds in half an hour.”

He smiles, “Okay. Have fun. I’ll see you later.”

I grab a hoodie, fix my hair and run downstairs. Then as I’m about to head outside, I hear a voice.

“Whoa, where are you going, kiddo?” I turn and smile at Ryan.

“Amber, Garrett, Jake and I are meeting at McDonalds. I’ll see ya later Ryho.”

He winces, “Don’t call me that.”

I snicker, “Sure, whatever. I gotta run.”

Then I head out the door. I catch the bus to the mall and I cross the street and go into the McDonalds. I see Jake sitting at a table in the corner and I sit down beside him, “Hey Jake.”

He smiles at me, “Hi Candy, what’s up?”

I shrug, “Meh.”

He raises an eyebrow, “Meh?”

I pout, “Yes, meh. Meh is a very important and descriptive word. Now leave it.”

He laughs and I grin. His laugh is contagious.

“I swear you’re like a lost puppy.” He tells me.

I mock glare, “Thanks a LOT! You’re like a lost puppy too.”

He snickered, “We’ll be lost together then, maybe we can find our puppy mother.”

I snort, “Puppy mother? Wouldn’t that just be a bitch?”

He laughed, “I guess. Oh look, Amber and Garrett are here.”

I glance over, “Hey Amber, hey Garrett.”

They smile and sit down, Garrett shoves a notebook at me and I read the lyrics. They’re really good.

I glance up, “These are awesome, Garrett.”

He smirks, “Thanks.”

Amber coughs, “I think we have a real issue here.”

I look at her, “Hmm?”

She smiles, “We need a band name.”

I nod in agreement, “We do.”

Garrett looks at us, “Any ideas?”

We think for a minute, then something pops into my head.

“How about, ‘The Effect’?” I suggest.

Jake grins widely, “I like it.”

Amber and Garrett nodded in agreement.

Amber smiled, “So, we are now officially The Effect.”

I grin, “Now let’s get some coke and toast to that.”

Awwww ^_^ haha The Effect! That's such a cool name!
