three comments from three people and i will be delighted to update again

here comes the "filler"

Chapter 7 : The Take Over…

George Ryan Ross II was as tall as Ryan, maybe even a little taller than him.
He wore a pit stained blues button-down shirt and you could see some of his chest hair. His brown pants were dirty and it also looked like he had either vomited on them or wet himself.
His eyes were bloodshot and the alcohol had made his face look worn-out, almost sponge-like.
His hair was the same brown as Ryans but a little grey already showed. Brendon figured that he worked in some car or steelfactory. He had the muscles of a hard worker and his hands, underarms and fingernails had black oil stains on them.
He had a wild beard that looked as filthy as the rest of his appearance.
“RYAN!” he shouted “imma ‘ave to tell ya somethin’ boy…!”

Chapter 8: coming out

“Yes dad?” Ryan almost whimpered “the stupid old fucktard who calls himself my boss” He paused as if he was looking for the right words. Brendon noticed that he hadn’t even asked who he was. Strange.
“He fuckin’ fired me!! Tol’ me that I aint no longa capable of doin tha’ ratty ol’ job…!” Ryan’s dad looked very grim. “Dad, how are we going to het food and pay the rent?” Ryan whispered. “Whaddya say? Speak up and look at me you speck of dirt!” Brendon took a sharp breath. Why did he talk to his own child like that? Ryan answered loud and clearly “Dad, I have a visitor, his name is Brendon and…” “SHUT UP!” he was interrupted “no one would wanna be friends with you and even if, I don’t give a damn!: Suddenly and out of nowhere he broke into tears. Ryan almost seemed as shocked as Brendon before. “Dad, what...” “Fuck you Ryan and leave me alone!” Mr. Ross shouted. “But dad…” “Shut Up, Ryan” he stated loudly. And all of a sudden he had a half empty beer bottle in his hands. “Ryan if you don’t obey me, I’ll have to make ya” he screamed almost high pitched while swinging the beer bottle over his head.

Everything happened so fast and Brendon turned to Ryan. His friend seemed paralyzed and slowly brought his hand to his forehead, almost to where his hair grew. When he lowered it to his face it was bloodred. Brendon realized it but even he seemed paralyzed at that very moment.
Was he dreaming?
How could Ryan’s own father hit him?
“It’s...” Ryan took a deep breath “its ok Bren…” Brendon could see Ryan was close to tears. But somehow it wasn’t the pain.
He actually seemed embarrassed.
“Ryan, my god! Was he also the one who gave you those mysterious bruises?” Brendon asked in shock.
Ryan had a dazed expression but didn’t respond. He didn’t need to though.

Brendon knew the answer already

Chapter 9: Unfold the truth

Brendon, who owned a rented motorcycle (he didn’t have any money for his own) drove Ryan to the hospital where he got 8 stitches and a big white bandage on his forehead. Ryan protested at first but Brendon didn’t give in and so Ryan let the whole procedure over him.
Still having the effects of the small anaesthesia (sp?) and the stress from the fight weighing heavily on him he felt too exhausted to go home.
His dad didn’t care anyway.

Brendon called the family where he lived for his exchange period and of course they had nothing against him staying “at a friends house” and so it happened that they stayed in a hospital guestroom all snuggled up.
The next day was a Saturday and so they spent the whole afternoon in the park where Ryan talked a lot about his family and his dad.
Of course it wasn’t easy for him but Brendon comforted him.
At 5.30 pm they got a coffee at Starbucks and strolled around the blocks near their homes.
“what time is it Ryan?” Brendon asked all of a sudden.
“almost 8” Ryan responded.
“what??? Oh god I need to go home and get packing!!” Brendon paused and suddenly gasped. “shit I didn’t want to say that” he thought. “hopefully Ryan overheard it!”
But of course Ryan hadn’t overheard it.
“Brendon why do you have to get packing?”
“okay” Brendon gave in “so much has happened in the past few days and weeks and I was so happy and of course still am that I found you Ryan but see…” he paused and caught his breath “fact is, my exchange time is over tomorrow and I’m flying back to L.A. tomorrow at 5 pm.” He paused again “Ryan, I am so truly madly deeply sorry.”
He looked helplessly at Ryan checking his reaction.
Maybe it was the shock or maybe ot was the anger and pain Ryan felt because Brednon hadn’t told him earlier but suddenly there was a vast emptiness in his head and be knew that without Brendon his lije would fo back to the dull, joyless eternal pace it had before that fateful day in school 3 weeks ago.
“Brendon, why…” he was at a loss for words.
“Ryan I didn’t want to give you even more to chew on!” Brendon paused “you had so many… so much has happened to you the past few weeks that I didn’t want to…”
But Ryan didn’t want to hear it.
He knew that this was one o the most painful moments of his life, maybe even Brendons life.
He felt anger.
Everyone he cared about in his pathetic life had left him eventually.
Here was the next one. The only friend he had ever had.
“No.” was all Ryan said,more to himself…
Then he ran off.
Brendon, puzzled just stood there all alone.
A tear ran down his face.
He didn’t even bother to wipe it off.
Brendon sighed and left…
Forever.
