Chapter 7

*Brendon’s POV*

-After lunch-

My next class was math with Mr. Martin. Lily had math at this period too, but she was in the advanced math with Mrs. Parker. This girl was cute AND smart. I sat down in my usual seat next to Jon.
“Good afternoon class! I hope you all enjoyed your lunch because today we are…..” Mr. Martin kept talking but I didn’t hear a word he was saying. I was thinking about Lily. Her beautiful brown hair, her big mocha colored eyes, her cute braces, her laugh and most of all her smile. I want to know more about her, she doesn’t seem to have much of a personality…maybe that’s just because it’s her first day. I can’t wait till her real personality comes out. She’s so innocent and…
“Mr. Urie?” I snapped back into reality.
“Oh uh…ya?”
“Do you know the answer?”
“Uh….George Washington? No wait….what class am I in.” I totally forgot that I was even in school.
“Math…?”
“Oh right…uh….sorry I don’t know.” I said shrugging my shoulders.
“Please try to pay attention Brendon. Does anyone know the answer?” Bethany, of course, raised her hand.
“Yes Bethany?”
“7.8!”
“Correct…again!” I can’t believe I trailed off like that. I’ve never done that in a class before.

-After class-

The 5th period bell rang and everyone got up from their seats, running up to level three to get to their lockers in time. As I was rushing, I heard Jon calling my name.
“Brendon!” I turned around.
“Ya?”
“What happened in math? You’ve never done that before.”
“Ya…just forget about it.”
“All right…but I know you were thinking about something…or someone.”
“What? No I wasn’t!” I tried covering up the fact that I was actually thinking about Lily rather then paying attention in math.
“Mhm…sure.” Jon said sarcastically. “I know who you were thinking about….you were thinking about that new girl…Lily!” I blushed. Did everyone know that I liked Lily?
“No I wasn’t…” I was still blushing.
“YOU’RE BLUSHING! DUDE, YOU SO WERE THINKING ABOUT HER!”
“Shut up! I don’t want anyone else to know!”
“So you do like her?!”
“….Kindddaaaa.”
“You’re secret’s safe with me.”
“Thanks.”
“I don’t blame you for liking her….she’s pretty cute….but don’t worry I don’t like her!”
“You better not like her…or else” I said, joking obviously. Jon shoved my shoulder causing me to go off balance and bump into a girl who was just standing there.
“Oh sorry!”
“It’s okay…Oh hey Brendon!” Great Jon pushed me into Lily. I glared at him but he was already running down the hallway.
“Hey Lily! What class do you have next?” I said hoping we would have yet another class together.
“Uh…Science with Mrs.Mckarthy.”
“Ha! I have that class too.”
“Yay, another class together…do you mind showing me were that class is?”
“No I don’t mind at all!” Yes, she was in another class with me! This was my best school day so far, I met and cute girl and she has three classes with me. I knew something good was going to happen this year.
