Prologue:
I’ve never thought someone could need a person so much that they’re almost necessary for someone’s well being. I found out just how much I needed my best friend when my mom died. I did a load of stupid things to try and get rid of the pain from drugs to self harm to sleeping with boys from school who I’d never met. This is just the prologue.

Chapter 1:
Is It God Who Chokes In These Situations?

“Meredith Miller?” I heard someone say my name from the door of my third period art class.

“Yes?” I asked confused and wondering what I could possibly be needed for.

“Can you step outside for a moment?” I walked outside and felt as if I knew something bad was going to be said.

“I’m afraid your parents have been in a car wreck.” The front office secretary said pausing to see if I had anything to say. I just stood there in shock. She continued, “Your father is fine…”

“What about my mom? Is she alright?” I asked cutting her off.

“I’m so sorry.”

“No. No. No! This can’t be happening. My mother is not dead! This is just some sick joke!” I said hysterically.

“I wish it was. I’ll let you think.” She said turning and walking down the linoleum tile hall. I walked back into my class emotionless and sat down.

This isn’t real… was the only thing running through my head. I just couldn’t comprehend it. I didn’t even get to tell her bye or I love you.

“Mere? What’s wrong?” My best friend, who I’ve known since birth, Ryan asked.

-My name is Madison and people call me Maddie
-Im 5'4
-I have long wavy blonde hair.
-I have hazel eyes that change color to Green,yellow,light brown,or mixtures of those colors. (it was Ryho-Pedo-carmel-brown colored this morning, i was scared)
-UmMm I play soccer and VOlleyball. I love music...and i have a tendincy to murder cell phones on accident.
-I laugh at the stupidest jokes.
-Im kinda clutzy, like i trip over air, and i crash into tables/desks/people alot.
