Week Four. July 4th.



“Hey Ryan.” I said as he walked into the cabin.



“Hey, have you seen Brendon?”



“No, I haven't seen Tiffany either.”



“Eww.” Ryan said and sat on the couch. I went and sat net to him.



“How are you?” I asked trying to start up a conversation.



“I'm okay, how about you?”



“Good.”



Silence.



“It's the fourth of July.” I said.



“Yeah.”



Silence.



“There's going to be fireworks.”



“Cool. Well I'm going to find Emma, I'll see you later!” He said and left. Fucking Shit. On cue Brendon came in straightening his shirt.



“You have sex hair.” I said looking at him laughing.



“I'm Mormon, I'm not allowed to have sex.” He said rolling his eyes.



“Sure…” I said lying down.



“I'm for real!” He said jumping on me.



“You're a dork.” I said laughing and pushing him off.



“Yes.” He said very serious, which made me laugh again. Brendon and I hung out until Tiffany came back. We all sat around making jokes, though I felt like a third wheel. Then Ryan came back with Emma.



“GET THAT HOE OUT OF HERE!” Tiffany yelled. Brendon and I started laughing but Ryan was pissed.



“Shut up, you're a whore.”



“How am I a whore?” Tiffany asked standing up.



“I don't know.” Ryan said.



“See, who wins at arguments? Tiffany does!” She said. Ryan flipped her off.



“Ryan just dump her!” Tiffany said.



“Shut up!”



“She's an ugly fat bitch! She's the meanest person and stupidest person I've ever met!” Tiffany said. Emma put her hands on her hips.



“Have you looked in a mirror?” Emma said.



“Oh snaps.” I said quietly.



“Excuse me? What did you say?” Brendon said standing up.



“You guys stop. Just all of you, stop.” Ryan said.



“Come on Ryan! You know you can do better.” I heard Tiffany quietly say to Ryan. Emma was turning red with anger. Ryan whispered something in Tiffany's ear.



“OH MY GOD.” She said rolling her eyes.



“Shut up!” Ryan said.



“Jeez Ryan! If you dump her you won't be alone!” She said. Ryan turned beat red.



“Don't worry Honey, I love you.” Emma said hugging him, squeezing his frail body.



“Gag. Ryan, she'll eat you. I know someone who likes you!” Tiffany said. Don't you dare say it Tiffany. I will kill you tonight if you do!



“Who?”



“Me!” She said giving him a hug.



“Great.” He said.



“But I like Brendon more… sorry. But I do know someone who really likes you though. And it's not me. Or Brendon. Okay it might be Brendon, I'm not sure.” She said giving Brendon a hug.



All of a sudden, everything went slow motion.



I saw Tiffany shift her eyes towards me and smile. Brendon turned to look at me with a confused look on his face. Emma stared straight at me as the creases in her head got bolder. And slowly Ryan's head turned towards me, from his blink he opened his eyes and looked straight at me. Then everything turned to normal speed.



“You like Ryan?!??!?!” Brendon said freaking out. My face was so hot I couldn't breathe. So I ran out of the cabin and to the nurse's station. She gave me some ice, I told her my story and she gave me a sucker. At about 9:30 I decided to face my fears. Plus, it was dark out so if I started blushing again, you wouldn't be able to tell. I saw Tiffany texting by a wall of some random cabin.



“Why did you do that?” I said with an angry tone.



“I didn't tell him though! Everyone just assumed it was you…. And they assumed right.” She said.



“FUCK!”



“I'm really sorry. But if it makes you feel better, after Ryan found out he wasn't really talking to Emma.”



“What happened after I left?”



“So Ryan stood there shocked, Brendon was ranting about how weird it was, and yeah. After a while Ryan was like `Are you for real?' and I was like `Yeah dude' and then he was really quiet for a long time.”



“Great, I scared him.” I said hitting my head on the wall.



“I bet he's just thinking of your guys' wedding.” She said trying to cheer me up.



“Except not.”



“Come on, let's go watch the fireworks.” She said and pulled me along. We got to Brendon and he looked at me.



“What?” I said all grumpy like.



“You like Ryan?” He whispered.



“Yes.”



“Whoa.”



“Shut up Brendon.”



“I'm sorry, I'm being a jerk. It's cool that you like him.” He said smiling.



“Yeah whatever.” I said sitting down on the cold ground.



“Hey Tiffany, do you want to stand by the dock and watch them?” Brendon asked. She nodded and they started walking.



“Wait! Are you coming?” Brendon said looking back at me.



“No, I'm fine here. You guys go have fun.” I said smiling.



“You sure?”



“Yeah.” I said and they left. I'd rather be alone than that lame third wheel. I heard footsteps and Ryan sat down by me. He didn't say anything. After a minute of silence…



“Hi.” He said not looking at me.



“Hi.” I said quietly. The fireworks started firing away.



“So… you like me?” He asked. Crap.



“Uh… kind of.” I said. I didn't want to sound stalkerish.



“Oh…” He said.



Silence.



“Well, I think you're cute.” Ryan said. My eyes widened.



“Um, thanks.”



Silence.



“I'm going to go…” He said standing up.



“Don't.” I said standing up quickly.



“Why are you so weird?” He said with a smile.



“I'm sorry.” I said looking at the ground. He laughed slightly then it was quiet. He touched my hands that were by my side. I looked up at him to see the slight reflection of fireworks in his eyes. Both of us didn't move, and I had to do something.



I leaned it and pressed my lips against his.

Waddup playyaaaas? So yeah. Here I go, updating ma story!


I backed away from him as embarrassment took me over. He looked stunned and stood there motionless, except his eyes that were moving back and forth. Fuck.



“I'm sorry.” I mumbled and walked away really fast. Way to be a dork! I got to the cabin and jumped on my bed. Why do I have to ruin fucking everything? We at least had a friendship! I crawled under my blankets and covered my head with my pillow, but it still didn't block out the noise of the fireworks. I heard a couple words of Brendon a while later, but I fell asleep. I woke up and only saw white. Oh fuck, I'm in a coma. I sat up and found out it was a piece of paper. In fact, it was a note!



“What's with the paper stuck to you head?” Tiffany said jumping on my bed. Brendon and Ryan were gone.



“Where are the guys?” I asked looking at the folded note.



“I don't know, Ryan said he need to go somewhere and he wanted Brendon to go with. WHAT'S WITH THE PAPER? Don't change subjects on me.” She said. I opened the note slowly to find a letter in bad handwriting.



“What does it say?” She said trying to grab it out of my hand.



“Will you give me a second?” I said kicking her.



Dear Ally,


I know you're an awkward person. But so am I. So I didn't really know how to respond yesterday. I still don't know what's going on in my life right now, things are stressful as it is. But I do like you. Please don't get the feeling I don't have feelings for you. I hope you don't hate me for being a jerk, I hope there's some way I can talk to you. I'm probably not in the room right now, that would be awkward also. I left this on your head so that you would see it when you woke up. I'm sorry, I'm weird. I hope I didn't scare you with this note, but please tell me what you think about me.

I folded it and put it in my pillowcase.



“What did it say?” Tiffany asked.



“Nothing, I need to find Ryan.” I said getting up. She jumped on my pillow and took out the note and read it.



“HE LIKES YOU!!!!” She said getting all excited. I smiled and jumped up and down. Brendon and Ryan walked in a few seconds later. Ryan kept staring at his feet and Brendon was singing some random song. I walked up to Ryan.



“Can I talk to you outside?” I said quietly. He nodded his head and we walked outside around to the back. It was very quiet.



“I read your note.” I said.



“Oh.”



“It made me happy.” I said. I couldn't think of anything else! He smiled and laughed.



“Good.” He said.



“So…” I said playing with my fingers.



“Do you want to go back inside?” He asked.



“Sure.” I said walking away. His fingers quickly touched mine but went away. I tried putting my hand with his except he swung his hand a bit and knocked mine away. We both laughed a bit under our breaths until Ryan stopped and grabbed my wrist. He took my hand and put it in his other hand and nodded his head. I laughed and blushed enormously. We entered the cabin and Tiffany was jumping on Ryan's bed holding up a notebook and looking through the pages.



“What are you doing?” Ryan asked as the grip on my hand tightened a bit.



“When the moon found the sun…” Tiffany read from the paper.



“Don't.” Ryan said as my hand started to hurt.



“He looked like he was barely hanging on, but her eyes saved his life, in the middle of summer…” She said with an eyebrow in the air. My hand was getting numb as Ryan squeezed and called Tiffany a bitch. She laughed and jumped to her bed.



“All was golden in the sky, when the day met the night!” She said laughing.



“Ryan! I can't feel my hand!” I said on the verge of tears. He let go as I looked at my red hand. He leaped at her and took the notebook back.



“Don't you dare look in this notebook.” He said threatening her.



“I already did.” She said, “I don't see what the big deal is. They're cool poems.”



“They are NOT poems!” Ryan said sitting on his bed.



“Fine. Lyrics.” She said correcting herself. I sat down on my bed and looked at my hand.



“Way to abuse your girlfriend.” Brendon said sitting by me.



“Shut up Brendon, he's not my boyfriend.” I whispered to him.



“Is it that bad?” Ryan said coming over. Hey, he didn't say anything about me NOT being his girlfriend.



“You have big hands.” I said.



“I'm sorry.” He said.



“It's okay…” I said smiling to reassure him.



“Are you just going to stand there Ryan? Or are you going to kiss it and make it better?” Brendon said with his hands on his hips. Oh god Brendon. Ryan grabbed my arm and kissed my hand quickly.



“Happy?” He said looking at Brendon. I know I was.



“Yes. Now I fell a couple a minutes ago.” Brendon said.



“What am I supposed to do about that?” Ryan asked.



“KISS MY ASS BITCH!” He said standing up and jumping on the bed. Tiffany started laughing so hard and she jumped on my bed too.



“They're on Meth.” I said standing up laughing a bit.



“That explains a lot.” Ryan said. I laughed and jumped up on Brendon's bed.



“METH!” I yelled and started jumping on the bed.



“CRACK!” Brendon yelled.



“COCAINE!” Tiffany yelled. Ryan laughed.



“ECSTACY!” He yelled and jumped up on the bed and jumped with me.
