i think i'd like it a little better if we didnt have to read it in school but yeah i thought the ending was kinda weird. i didnt like it that much...but my teacher gave us this realy hard quiz and like no one did good on it (i got a 76 so i was pretty pissed) and so now shes making us take extensive notes on it and i just passed in the notes i had to take on it for chapter four and it took me three hours to do it.

I read Of Mice and Men in seventh grade, and when my family and i traveled to california, i insisted that we visit Cannery Row so that i could see the spot John Steinbeck wrote about in his book. I really enjoy John Steinbeck's books because he write about topics that other people don't usually write about. they give you an insight on poverty in the 1900's.

hah yeh, curly's wife was just called Curley's wife..i'm pretty sure.

i had to read it for school..yes, but the first time i read it wasn't for school. my sister had too and i was in 7th grade or something and i took it and read it in a day. then a few years later, i had to read it again for school.

i loved the book. very sad, but yeah, i think the ending was for the best too.
the movie was good as well!

Yeah..... well one of the reasons my dad told me to read it was because he said "If you were in school in the states they would have you reading this book and its good so you should read it".... so pretty much i guess i did read it because of school XD And he also thinks that I dont read anything besides Harry Potter.... but he keeps on saying that after each book I read besides Harry Potter.... lol XD
