Okay, this is something that Krisa and I thought would be fun to try, so hopefully we'll get some people interested and we can actually do it!! Just to say this now, I'm bad at breaking things down, so if you haven any questions, just post them and i'll try to explain further!!

-so yes, it is something i like to call Pen Pal for a Day and what that means is you are going to write someone a letter..but just one..not a back n forth thing.

-who you are writing is whoever in the bookclub wants to participate(okay, so Krisa figured that you don't have to be an active member to participate in this if you really want to write or get a letter, but you MUST be a part of the bookclub in some way..such as you, you are just new to it or you post every now and then, but aren't too active...)

-you DO NOT have to write everyone. if five people want to do this, you can write all five, only two, only one..whoever you feel like writing! do not post here or anywhere where people can see it who you wrote though! if you get your letter and want to reply to them on what they wrote, email them, message them on myspace, p.m. them..whatever..but don't post here.

-there is nothing that you have to write either. it can be something you and this person find funny...something you want to tell them..whatever. and it can be as short or as long as you want!!

-do not add anything else with the letter. you can tape pictures or something of that sort to the letter, but don't add anything else WITH it, does that make sense?

-Post in a reply if you want to be involved and do this before THIS sunday. then on sunday, i will edit this post and put all the people that you can write.

-also this sunday, i will p.m. everyone who is involved with MY address and you will have to then give me YOUR address.

-why this is is b/c you won't send the letters separatly to all your people. you will send ALL the letters you wrote to me and i will then put all of one persons letters in an envelope to them,etc..so you get all of your letters from various people all at once. that is why i will need your address too!![don't worry..i won't read anything that you write. lol]

-two weeks from this sunday...i don't know the exact date, sorry..i'll try and get that posted soon..you must have your letters written and mailed to me. i don't have to have them in this time, but they must be sent by this time.

-once you've mailed them, post a reply saying you have, so i can expect them.

-that way hopefully, it won't be too much over a month from now where most of you have your letters!!!

so that is basically what it is. it's a way to say whatever you want to people and they can get these letters and actually be able to keep them. it's a memory thing you can always have from your time spent at this bookclub!

If you only have a username and don't want to post your name, then that's fine, but do try and introduce yourself a little!!!!

Okay, i just wanted to add that when you write your letters and send them, i need to know whose letter is who..so if someone has the same name, use a nickname that i would know or write their username somewhere for me to see!!

sweet. yea, i like writing letters to people too..notes/letters sent to my friends a lot..well, not so much now, but i used to, so yea i like it.

This sounds like an awesome idea, but I don't think my parents would let me participate. It's a really cool idea though.
