If you go back through the pages, there are one or two threads about this. and for the most part, people said that you just have to be mature. i mean, i think you should be older to an extent, b/c they are mature and graphic books, and some i don't even want to read.
but i guess it depends on the person.

yes, it is something parents might have a problem with, so i guess just talk to your mom about it.....

i know i'm not much help, but i mean, i think it depends on different things. lol

i think you cold definetly read some when you are 14. like, lullaby, diary, and probably survivor too, which is my favorite. and of course like lauren said it all deoends on you, so you might not like it, but you also might be able to handle the other ones!

yeah, Survivor wasn't that bad with dealing with taboo topics or going into too much graphic detail. and it' a good book...

psh. i'm 13 and am reading all of them. you should definately be mature enough. i wouldn't start with haunted though. it gets pretty graphic. or choke. i'm reading that now and he gets kinda graphic. my mom asked which band members fav author palahniuk was and i just said ryan and she knew exactly what i was saying. it was weird.

oh. okay. good. I just got Lullaby and Survivor because I have a 5 hour plane ride to go on next week, and i'm not that much into extremely graphic books...so i'm glad I got the right ones.
=)
Although from reading the back of Survivor i'm not sure I want to read that while on a plane..
