"Blood and Gold" by Anne Rice It's an eloquently written book about the vampire, Marius de Romanus. I found the history of the character to be quite fascinating. Also, I enjoyed listening to his different opinions on the matters of humans.

I used to like Cirque du Freak, but then I read the last few books and hated it. But over a year ago I read Twilight, and like everyone else, loved it.

Any one ever read Lost Souls by... Poppy Z Brite. It mostly about vampires in New Orleans and that area... My best friend loved it. Unfortunately I haven't gotten through it completely. I want to get into Anne Rice's books, but people have told me they're hard to get through... Any opinions? Are they worth the buy? ______________________ "Oh, you can't help that. I Just started reading her books and I love them - it depends - can you get through Lord of the rings? if so - yeah- but thena gain - If you can get through LOTR you can get through anything. You might want to check them out from a library first- That's what I'm doing-
