In the melting pot of the world
slept the rug of redemption
father time was dead right
he killed him with kindness

When the rubber hits the road
We make the bed,
shut the door,
and turn out the lights
for the worlds greatest target

with all due respect
the lions like to share
the uphill battle
for the horse of a different color

With eyes as the windows
of our souls
we learn the ropes
so we can rip the lips
from the worlds greatest target
