Hello! This isn't exactly about a book...

But, riddles take brain power!!! I love riddles, they're cute, funny, clever, smart, etc.

And if they're really good - you'll want to kick yourself for not thinking of the answer when you don't get it.


SO. Post riddles, discuss them... I just want to know what every one comes up with! Find them on the internet and share, or come up with your own! Please, don't cheat. I know, the internet is a wonderful tool, but... then there's no fun. Use your brain, it's more satisfying!


My first riddle is a relatively easy one:

I'm light as a feather, yet the strongest man can't hold me for much more than a minute. What am I?

As I was going to Saint Ives,
I met a man with seven wives,
the seven wives had seven sacks,
the seven sacks had seven cats,
the seven cats had seven kits.
kits,cats,sacks,wives,
how many were going to Saint Ives?

One. He met a man on the way, but it doesn't say HE was going to St. Ives.

That's my guess any how. Otherwise, math is involved.

Yup. I totally counted all of that up the first time. haha

Aw, sweet. I actually got Steph's. I was just going to say, one...you. Because it said I was going to St. Ives.

And I have no riddles..I should look some up...we used to have to figure those out in grade school for the hell of it sometimes. I need to re-remember them.

god this one is hard but i bet it is totally obvious. must try not to over think this
