If you like fantasy books, here are a few of my favorite writers (they all have a trilogy or sequal thingies, I'll just name a few titles, but there are a bunch more):
Robin Hobb ~ Assassin's Apprentice (first book of The Farseer Trilogy ) ~ Ship of Magic (first book of The Liveship Traders Trilogy) ... Terry Goodkind ~ Wizard's first rule (first book of a series that's still going on, untill now there are 10 of these) Juliet Marillier ~ Daughter of the forest (first book of The Sevenwaters Trilogy) Raymond E. Feist ~ Magician (first book of The Riftwar-Series) ... pm me if you want some more or if you'd like to discuss them |

I'm not sure what you have already read....
Here is a list of authors who have largish series or multiple books out - mostly fantasy: 1) Jim Butcher - Dresden Files series (btw, a new program on the Sci Fi channel) - Codex Alera series 2) Terry Prattchet - Discworld series (very funny - british humour) 3) Neil Gaiman - misc books not really in a series Good Omens (w/ Terry Prattchet, very funny!), American Gods 4) Tanya Huff 5) Anne Bishop - Black Jewels Trilogy - Tir Alainn Trilogy 6) Simon R Green - The Nightside novels - Deathstalker series (more scifi) 7) Holly Lisle Vincalis the Agitator (great book) 8) Orson Scott Card - Alvin Maker series - Ender's Game, Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide (personally I don't like the books later in the series and haven't read all of them - his older work is much better - ok, sorry, I'll get off my high horse) a couple of non series books that are truly great: Treason & Songmaster more sci fi 9) David Webber 10) John Ringo Anyways, I could keep going, but that's a ton of books right there. Contact me if you want more. |

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I read the whole series in a week. It's well worth the time.
