Ahh, yes. We've currently given IM to my friend suffering in hospital. Makes every situation that tiny bit better, huh?

OMG, Stephen King has so many and they are written in so many styles.....I would suggest The Cell, which is one of his newest/newer books and is more like his original writing-style. If you start with Firestarter and Christine, his first book and maybe his second, close to it if not, they would probably be good for you(?) I do know he is rewriting several of his older books to contain newer references that younger readers can relate to. One thing to know about SK, especially his larger books, he doesn't always begin with a slap to the face....he does a lot of frontloading to help what comes later make sense. Sometimes, it's a bit boring, but if you persevere, you are rewarded with the rest of the book.
Age is a state of realitivity...just be sure to check ID and make sure he's legal! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Her skin is pale like God's only dove/Screams like an angel for your love/Then she makes you watch her from above/And you need her like a drug.""I took the money, I spiked your drink/You miss too much these days if you stop to blink..Surrounding me, going down on me/Spilling over the brim. In waves of regret, in waves of joy, I reached out for the one I tried to destroy." But she's touching his chest now/He takes off her dress now/Let me go/It was only a kiss/It was only a kiss/I never...................

I think the only book I have ever convinced my sister to read was IM.. other than that she just ignores me when I talk about books. But I have gotten on of my friends into C. Palahniuk.. she even got my old highschool bookclub to read IM.. ----- Panic! at the Bookclub-"Did you see that guy's ass party": Checking out the asses of guys in between book discussions since 2007.

haha..i know what you mean. it is like reading is a rare thing to find, and when you do find someone who likes to read, they might as well not read at all. i love classics, you dont find many of people who appreciate those. ----- Panic! at the Bookclub-"Did you see that guy's ass party": Checking out the asses of guys in between book discussions since 2007.
