I figured this would be the best place to put this. Has anybody read any of his books? And if so, which ones would you recommend? I'm interested in reading some of them. And anybody who knows me on here knows that pretty much nothing offends me, so.....yeah. Any suggestions would be great!

Invisible Monsters is my favourite.
Fight Club is a close second, and I loved the movie.

Chuck Palahniuk in general is one of my favourite authors. ♥

I've also read Diary, Rant, Choke, Haunted, Stranger Than Fiction, Snuff, and I'm in the process of reading Pygmy. (Snuff is a great book if you like reading porn.)

I think Invisible Monsters is my favorite, though I rather liked Survivor as well.

I'm reading Fight Club right now, and I just got Pygmy today.

dude, it is SO fucked up. I thought his books couldn't get any worse after Snuff, but...yeah. I was wrong. Way wrong. It's still worth reading though.
My favorite books of his are Invisible Monsters, Survivor, Fight Club, and Lullaby.
Diary and Rant were a little too weird, Choke and Snuff were practically straight porn, and Pygmy was just...I don't know. I'm not saying that they aren't good-they all are!-but those are why they aren't my particular favorites.

I haven't read that one. And I was really surprised my mom let me get Pygmy. I don't think she knows what sorts of books he writes.

LOL
I got my entire family to read Fight Club, and they all liked it. But Pygmy (or Snuff)? I wouldn't leave the house for months, and my parents are open-minded!

I mentioned the others I've read to my mom. And I had to do this scrapbook, and I had several things from Invisible Monsters in it.

But IDK. Like, what's bad about it?

Very graphic anal rape in like maybe the third chapter. I mean, I don't cringe at much, but that was pretty bad.

Palahniuk is my favorite author of all time, and Fight Club is the reason I think so.

Fight Club is my favorite book of all time (tied with something else though), and my favorite out of the ones he's written. Survivor's probably next, followed by Invisible Monsters (which I actually stayed away from for a while because of Time To Dance), and then Lullaby, Diary, Haunted, Choke, and Rant. I haven't read Snuff or Pygmy yet, or any of his non-fiction stuff.

i personally hated invisible monsters. my favorite would have to be diary by a mile. it has a great plot behind it and the actual writing is very well done. its hard to understand, but once you read it one time and then think about it, the signs and random lines he puts building up to the end make it almost an entirely different story. its fantastic.

my other favorite by him is lullaby. very good book :] survivor is pretty damn good too. i didnt really like fight club all that much, and i havent read snuff, choke, or pygmy.

I meant in Pygmy, not Invisible Monsters.
I didn't really like Diary all that much, but I didn't like Fight Club a ton the first time I read it either. The second time was better, and the third time I loved it. Maybe I'll try reading it again.
I love Lullaby; I think the plot is great. Plus, I love that one line towards the end "It's a thousand year old page made of mummified skin and probably written in ancient cum. You lick it."
that always makes me lol.
