Hey guys!

no problem krisa!

this board will take a little time getting used to, but i know we can all do it in no time.

since this is a new thread- i think it's fitting for us all to introduce ourselves again, like krisa did a few posts up.

let's see- how about name, age, favorite book, and your old name on the old board (that way we'll recognize who's who and who's new)

i'm taylor, 20. my favorite book in the world is invisible monsters by chuck palahniuk. and on the old board, my name was tywelch126.

Name- Kim
Age- 22
favorite book- I really liked Drawing Blood by Poppy Z Brite (not about vampires)
Old name on old boards - Same= Bean Though I feel I should have used Kim because that makes it easy. All well.

i really need to read at least one of Chucks books. I can't believe it's taken me this long as is. Which one should I start with? Anyone?

kim- i would start with invisible monsters. but maybe im being biased because its my favorite chuck p. book.

i think it was his strongest book, and hey- panic's track 6 on their cd is about invisible monsters, so maybe you'd understand the song a bit better too.

but i think if you pick anything by him that catches your interest you wont be disappointed. just expect that his books are confusing, but by the end you're like 'ooooooh man, i get it now'.

also, his books are really raw, so if you are the type who gets offended easily about tabboo topics then you might not enjoy his stuff. i hope that helps a little bit!
