so,
here's the general idea.
Take one of your favorite books and go through it leaving little notes and such...almost like your giving a commentary of the book...
and we'll send these books to soldiers overseas.

you can do any kind of book you wish.
and just a suggestion: It wouldn't hurt to have a couple of "girlie" books but we could probably keep those down to a minimum
just b/c for the ladies that are over there, they probably don't get very many opportunities to "feel" girlie so maybe just reading something like 'Confession of a Shopaholic' could make her
feel home

Cost?
-price of the book
-shipping of the book to one of us clubber in the states (we'll probably just send all the books to one person, and that one can sent it over seas..)
-& if you could donate a couple of dollars to help with the shipping over seas, that would be awesome BUT NOT required.

ill mark up a girly book like a shop-a-holic book, or 'jemima j' - some chick lit book

I'm going to do this. If it's ok with Stephanie I'm gonna send The Alchemist. I've already marked it up. I think it's a great inspirational book for a soldier and not "girly" at all.

I think I found the book i want to send. It's called The Reading Club. I've been wanting to read it, so I'll mark it up and see if it's good to send..but i don't see why it wouldn't be...
