Who else has read the book? In my opinion, at least, its fantastic and I think of it everytime someone starts talking about a zoo, or the Pacific Ocean, or a life boat, or meercats.

its about a sixteen year old boy who moves with his family from india to canada but half way through the boat sinks (he doesn't know why) and he ends up on a raft with a zebra, an orangutan, a giant tiger, and a hyena (oh btw his family owned a zoo, thus the animals) in the Pacific Ocean. after awhile its only him and the Tiger left on the boat and its really really cool and slightly sad and really interesting and you learn alot about the ocean.

and there are funny parts too, if you have a morbid sense of humor like me xD
