yeha at first it seemed kind of confusing, and like it might be boring, but then i understood it[or at least my version] haha, and then it definetly wasnt boring.
exactly! they fit the book and the situation in the book, but they also fit your life and just other things as well. it's awesome!! i know a lot of people on here write down his quotes that they like. i should really do that...
hahah that's funny about saying them to people and they dont' get it! i don't think i've done that. i did use a chuck quote for this assignment i had to do recently. we needed a quote to live by, and i used 'do what scares you the most.' i forget where it's from, but taylor was talking about it one day.
thats a good idea to write them down! there are a few that seemed so good to me that i have/had them memorized.
oh and speaking of quotes, my teacher has a board with quotes on it, and one is " if you want to serve the age, betray it." does that make you think of the picture of dorian gray? it sounds so familiar...
