Okay...the book is broken into three parts, so I was thinking each week could be a part and I can post the General thread the first week, in case you finish before...does that work for everyone? Should the first week then start THIS Sunday or earlier?

I'm not sure who all has the book yet/where you are in the book/etc. etc.

I have a request. Can we hold off on the general thread until at least the second week. I feel as though having it the first week just pushes us further from discussing each part individually. And it's like the general thread gains little responses for the entire book.. if that makes sense.

I agree with Jennie about the general thread, we should talk about the book in sections as we go and in the last section you would of course be able to talk about the book as a whole.

This Sunday would be fine for the first week for me because I'm already reading but I think Stephanie still needs to get the book so we might want to wait for her.

Are you gonna post something in the LJ announcing the book so maybe we can get some others to join the conversation?? I think it's a good idea to do that.

awww.. I agree with Denise.. about having others join even though I am an elitist and think we're just too awesome. . It would be nice to have more than like three people discussing.
