Aw. I do hate orange. Emo color- great! "Late fall recess"- the longest we go without a break- 7 weeks (Already happened.) Tetris were definitely my favorite. Ah, that's silly that you can't dress up. But they gave us rules- the general no weapons blah, blah, blah, no cross dressing (What?) and no a lot of makeup either. Aw, sounded like a fun day. it's so cold out! and i'm done with the Psych Subject GRE. what an awful test! i get there and there's this Ken doll mr. i-go-to-harvard and i'm ritzier than thou with my hair that doesn't move and my loafers. and he's there on his laptop while i'm sitting there and studying my multicolored notes on basic concepts. i just wanted to throw his loafers across the room. everyone there looked so smart and sounded like they knew what they were doing and i felt like 'me no sykologee rele gud.' i was so uptight. it was 7:00 in the morning on the train and this stupid guy wouldn't shut the fuck up about how he's been riding the train for six hours because he's too drunk and/or stupid to ask the conductor for directions or use one of those maps that you see every five feet. he just kept on repeating the same thing.

tonight we went to see some comedians that came to our school- anyone heard of patton oswald?? really funny. i guess he was on king of queens and mad tv, something like that.
then a guy from "Best week ever" was there too- doug benson- OMG SO EFFING FUNNY. he said a joke- that was soooo bad but soooo funny. he was talking about his pickup line that he uses on women, that he says fails 100% of the time- and he went "i walk up to a woman and go- hello. my dick just died. would you mind if i buried it in your asshole" or something along those lines- omg we were alughing sooooo hard.
then maria bramford who did a 'comedy central presents' show came out and did a little skit- but people booed her because she really wasn't funny- but i felt so bad for her.
eugene mirman- who did a little thing on cartoon networks "home movies" came out- and he was really funny too, and then finally brian posehn who was on the sarah silverman show came out (click here for pic and all he did was make fun of how creepy he looks and stuff- it was hysterical.
the whole thing was free which made it that much better- but it was a lot of fun. you guys would have loved it.

taylor! i don't feel so alone. i got stuck at work so late and it was good for the most part (well after the first people. they were so difficult). but i was so ripped off on the tip. it was a $350-something bill and i only got a $20 tip. come on! there were 25 of you (and i didn't even have another person helping but there were supposed to be 35 and i was supposed to). it cost $20 per person anyway. you all couldn't chip in like 3 more dollars per person? thanks a lot, i'll be thinking of you while i spend the entire thing in one place.

In 13 days I will no longer be an employee at CVS. I finally got the nerve to put in my two weeks notice. I've been there for far longer then I want to be any more and finally got tired of all the bullshit.

As, I don't have another job lined up. But at my job, it's gotten to the point where I would leave today if I could regardless if I had something else waiting for me.

That's bad, huh? Well, my last week will be the week before Thanksgiving, so I think I'll take that week off, and then start looking after that.

the last post was 5.17.07- that�='s definitely my bad... maybe my laptop fell into the river one day while I was drifting in my wood boat under the sun catching up on some reading- and yes, I should've gotten it replaced or went to the community library to write you from there. maybe that didn't happen but I know for a fact that I haven't had an update in over 5 months.

a lot has happened since I last wrote- we spent some time in the Nevada Mountains, which was a really great experience for us. you might have seen some pictures. If not, find them, we look pretty funny. we were also in California doing some demos for the record, which was a good time for us because it was the first time we actually got to here what the songs we were writing sounded like.

now it is November, we are 6 tracks into recording our new album, and I couldn't be more excited. I came home to Chicago for the weekend for my moms surprise party (happy birthday Mom Walker) and now I am getting on an airplane and going to finish this record with the boys. I do apologize for disappearing for so long, we have been putting all of our time and focus into writing for this album. we have not and will never forget about all of you who make this band what it is. be back soon.

every time i visit here i make myself promise to come back more often, but for some reason that never happens. Anyway, I just got reminded of a question. The care package that was supposed to be send this spring/summer, including the book we made with the book club/creative writing club, did it ever get send? (and my apologies for never scanning it, my computer broke and then I went away from home for a couple months. I'll try and find my copy of it)

WHAT?! We leave and Jon updates?! YAY!!! You know, Denise and Kim and I were just talking about this today. About how they haven't updated in a really long time and how they can't just forget about everyone and still expect to keep their fans. I'm glad he wrote something.

Ok so this weekend was fucking awesome. The show was INCREDIBLE. Fall Out Boy really knows how to put on a good one. We went shopping and hung out for a while and it was just really really nice.

I stopped to get my oil changed on the way up there since it was way overdue and I thought everything was fine. I paid my $40 and we were on our way again. Then on the way home, I noticed some stuff that was getting on my windshield. So we stopped and I get out to clean it off and I notice oil running down the sides of my car. And down the front. And out from under it. So I open the hood and there is oil EVERYWHERE. They left the fucking oil cap off and just sitting inside the hood. I'm glad it was still in there but come on. I had no oil left. I called my dad and gave him the number so they're going to be getting a nice nasty little phone call from him tomorrow. We're gonna take it in to Mazda to make sure that the engine isn't totally destroyed. But if it is, Express Oil Change will be buying me a new car after we sue the hell out of them. Bastards.

Aaaaannnyways. Enough of that. Just had to vent. It's been such a great weekend so far. Kim's on the phone right now trying to get her flight changed to a little bit later and one where she won't be on 3 separate planes and flying from 10am to 7pm. Let's all cross our fingers.
