Yes, it's by Chuck Palahniuk.

And no offense, but you could've just googled it.

I think even extremely is an understatement....

I want to read this so fucking badly but everywhere I've looked they either don't have it or it's out of stock.

It. Was. Amazing.

Seriously. I liked it better than Fight Club. And my brother said I probably wouldn't. So ha to him.

On how appropriate it is, I would say it depends on the opinion. I found it -ahem- more than extremely innapropriate, but I also didn't find it as disturbing as my brother did. Because he is a baby-wimp. He also found Fight Club disturbing. I didn't.

I don't even find serial killer books disturbing. But that's for another topic.

it was amazing, as everyone claims, yes it is amazing, i read it about the same time as catcher in the rye and i loved it a whole lot more than catcher. It's really extremely inappropriate though, in all of his books it talks about sex and drugs and alot of more mature theme elements, so depending on your age depends on if its more mature for you, i definately wouldnt ask my mom to buy it for me though, i asked my mom to buy me fight club and diary, and i knew she would cause shes in love with brad pitt and saw fight club.

among his other great works that ive read are choke and snuff, i read choke before i saw the movie, and it was really good, but still not as good as invisible monsters, and snuff was also pretty good, but i would never mention that to your mom to buy, the whole book is a porn. literally. but its still good. ive always read about half of haunted and it is aso an amzing book as well, and im on about chapter 2 of lullaby. all of his books have a twist at the end, and i love the way he writes. hes my favorite author.

I want to read it but I read the summery on Wikipedia and I realised I couldn't get my parents to buy it. It seemed kind of messed up but still fascinating. I'll have to read it eventually.

When's the film coming out?

I'm reading it, again, and as stated - it is an amazing book. But, it has mature content (sex, drugs, etc...).
