Sorry..this should have gone up yesterday, but I completely forgot.
Anyway, this is the other and final contest for the summer.
It starts today and ends next Friday. About two weeks. I hope this is enough time!!!

What is the contest?
Pick a book..yes, any book..and make a sountrack for it.
What that means is pick songs that remind you of a part in the book, remind you of a character, has the same theme as a theme in the book, etc. Does that make sense?
If you do a series, like Harry Potter, you can use songs that fit any and all of the books..you don't have to pick just one.
Along with making a list of the songs, let us know why you picked that song. So if a song reminds you a character, tell us that, so we don't have to guess on why you picked a certain song!

Well, once you finish it, then post it in a reply and I'll try and figure out the winner next weekend. There are a couple ways I'm going to try and get the winner, because it's kind of hard to find one with a contest like this.

I'll post the prize when I post the winner. This prize won't be as interesting, I suppose, as the prize for the Read it up all summer long contest, but I still hope people will do this because it should be fun to see what books people pick and what songs they choose!!!

The reason I picked Lynn is because she really followed the rules and put why she picked the songs. That was going to be one way we picked a winner, and since she was the only one who wrote it out, I figured it kind of made her the winner on that one...along with the reasoning behind picking the songs..those were very good.

Sorry to say the prize for this one isn't all that exciting, but here it is:

What does that mean?
Normally, we vote to pick a book we all read/discuss right? If someone wants it to be something, the majority has to say yes. But for one time only, if you want to have a certain book be the official book, it will be. No voting. Nothing. It's just what you say.
You have to tell me during the discussion of the previous book, if you want it to be the next book, if that makes sense. There is no time limit to use this..just let me know!!!!

Stephanie: Favorite Song: (i'll have to do favorite song of the moment because i have tons of favorite songs). Our Lady of Sorrows by MCR. if i could ask them to perform one song for me it would be this. and We've Got A Big Mess on our Hands.

Kim: I've had burn my radio by zerochance stuck in my head since i heard it.

Ashley: My favorite song at the moment is Lazy Eye by the Silversun Pickups and I like Hey There Delilah a lot too.

Braxton: my favorite song might be Lady In A Blue Dress, among others..(senses fail)

Lynn: Oh. I'm really bad at this stuff. It changes like my favorite color. (Recently: plum and maroon, but I mean it changes.) Maybe Slow Motion. Since I heard it I've loved it. But by Panic, I've gotta go with Build God. Like the other one, since I've heard it, I've been in love.

Lizzie: Hmm just ever? One of my favourite songs? Going on my most played on itunes, the top played song is Daisy Duke by Rooney, I just love that song lol! It's supposed to end tomorrow, but if people want to do this, let me know and i'll push the end date back. i'd like to figure one out to show everyone..but i haven't really thought about it for awhile now.

Lauren: I still want to, but haven't had time to write it all out. I only need like a day maybe two. I mean, I could get it up later, so, I guess it's up to you to extend it.

There's not certain amount for the songs. Just come up with as many as you can!

so the book i've choosen for this is "Twilight" by Stephanie Meyer. This is an edited version of the playlist where I put the songs in order of the sequence of events in the book related to the part it reminds me of. I'm going to put the songs up instead of going into detail of why it reminded me of the song...later when the contest is coming closer to an end, i'll write why it reminded me of the part of the book...i just don't want to spoil the book right away cause it's a great book.

I picked most of the songs because i felt they related to the feelings the book gives off when you read it.
