Since everyone has a bunch of quotes that they like, I thought it would be cool for a thread to post them and discuss them.
So, just start posting quotes, then we'll just let it take off and see where it goes.

Okay! Hope you have fun with this. Big Grin

I'm just going to throw out my favorite quotes by Mark Twain Smiler

-Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

-Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first.

-It is better to keep your mouth closed and let people think you are a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.

and of course my sig.. Cool

krisa: haha thats my policy on life.

these are some good ones.
“I don’t care what you say about me, just spell my name right.” – PT Barnum

“Strangely, although music is something to listen to, I think music listens back because there’s no judgments. There’s not someone telling you what to believe in.” –Marilyn Manson. i was shocked that i agreed with this one because of the source. but it was in stranger than fiction, and i was glad that it was included because it gave me a look into marilyn manson.

Yeah. Any quotes. Books, movies, random people on the street, just something you liked.
I have some from English, but left them at school.

Krisa: I loved the one about the world and how it doesn't owe anyone anything. And the quote you used for your signature is cool too.

okay, i don't know who said this, and i'm not sure if this the correct way, but i found this funny:

There will always be death and taxes. only thing is, death doesn't get worse every year.

hah it amused me!

I like that one lol, because no-one ever spells my name right!

'The world is funnier when you're laughing at it instead of being the punchline' - Pete Wentz lol.

Lizzie: I liked the Pete one.

Lauren: I like the death/taxes one.

Stephanie: I liked the IM quote. I vaguely remember it- but do like it.

This is a random one I found while reading A Lone Way Down:

"The trouble with my generation is that we all think we're fucking geniuses. Making something isn't good enough for us, and neither is selling something, or teaching something; we have to be something."

I though this was very nicely put because it is really true. People all think they're so smart or good at what they do, but sometimes it's not true. I liked how it says we have to be something- no one really looks up to random people trying to make a decent living, but to those who are famous, who are something.

Oh right, people don't spell my name right because my real name is Lysette (which you pronounce Lizett) and people often spell it with an I and a Z - that's why I tend to just go with Lizzie lol.

I like that quote from ALWD, it's so true.
