hey guys I'm new. I'm Erin by the way.

umm lets see well right now I have three books going. I work at a book store so I always have a ton of books.

Right now I'm reading Eclipse from the twilight series, Suvivor by Chuck Palahnuik, and Notes from a small island by Bill Bryson.

Glad you liked it! Yes, there is a movie and I really loved it...so it's worth checking out, I think.

Are you a fan of Twilight? The girl playing Bella for the movie is the main girl in the film version of Speak. She does an amazing job!!!

i'm slowly getting through "the prime of miss jean brodie" by muriel spark. i'm just not that into it though. i've read a lot of graham greene and george orwell recently, so i thought i'd try a female author but it's just a bit bland to be honest.
when i finish it i'm gonna carry on with "the grapes of wrath" by john steinbeck. had to put it down while i studied so need to pick it up again.

I got:

Less than Zero,The Lovely Bones, The Virgin Suicides- they were all good.

I have in a pile to read: Glamorama and The Kite Runner.

And I'm currently on: Extremely Close & Incredibly Loud.

I think that's it so far...

Now to respond:
Yay Twilight! I guess that's all I can say.

Amycakes: Oh, I loved Grapes of Wrath. So many people didn't though when I read it.

BOBrutaRAY: Oh, Oedipus Rex would be so cool to read! I hear about it all the time.

Stephanie: Ha ha, I just picked up Galmorama too. Did you start, and if so, was it good?

Hey! I've never read The Virgin Suicides, but I saw the movie and it was quite good. Right now I'm on "All American Girl", by Meg Cabot. She's a great comedy writer (She's the author of The Princess Diaries-like the movies, but much better)
