The above site contains a a summary of The Wave. I read this book quite a while ago, when I was in maybe sixth grade, but it's a book that I remember fairly well. To see how the students could be taken by control so easily, just like the Nazis, is captivating. Has anyone else read it? Would anyone else be interested in reading it?

I loved Give a Boy a Gun. Very emotional book...I liked the way it was told from different points of view. And yeah, I'd absolutely suggest reading The Wave.

This book is definitely an amazing one. My Modern World History class is reading it right now along with our study of WWII. I read it I think in 8th grade and it was just so... unreal. Before I had read the book, I really couldn't comprehend how something like the Holocaust could have happened, but reading this book really helped me understand and come to terms more with what really happened. This book is really one of my favorites and I personally think one of the best written.
