i have a take-home test that i need to have done for tomorrow and i need help on this problem.
6x+y-4z=-8
y/4-z/6=0
2x-z=-2
anyone have any idea?

i'll do an example problem just like that, i'll just change the numbers so i'm not doing the problem for you
and then when you get your real answer, i can do the problem too so you can check your answer

okay i'm not doing all that work, i'll just tell you what to do
in the 3rd equation, solve for z
then in the 2nd equation, solve for y
then plug your answer for y into the first equation,
then go back and plug in your answer for z= in this equation for all the z's
solve for x
using your answer for x, plug it into the third equation and solve for z
then plug z into the second equation and get y
then check your answers

i got x=20
