Tbh, it's your work. I love poems and everything, and you may suck at them, but the reason why they give you them is to do work. If you really do suck at them, give them to your teacher and if he/she gives then back, ask him/her to give tips on writing poems so that you'll get a better. Or ask them to give you tips on how to be a better poet.

Us doing your work is not going to help you in the slightest bit.

i know we dont HAVE to write them i just need 10 poems and then make a poster on my favorite one

I do agree with this, now that you mention it.

Perhaps if you found what your strengths and weaknesses are, you could become good at poetry. It times practice, time and paitence.
