I would be Pro Choice.
I can understand people being pro life, but to be put in a position where a girl is raped or the pregnancy is going to cause more mental trauma I feel that an abortion would be the right choice. If keeping the child ment that the mental heath of the woman was put in jepordy and she was on the verge of harming herself I think she would be right to choose an abortion. I'm not gonna go in to a debate about believeing in god and what not, coz I don't. And maybe that has sculpted my views. I generally don't agree with abortion as a principle. If the girl's been raped, or forced or abused or whatever, then i can understand it. And then its like, if you dont want a baby, dont have unprotected sex. BUT i think way people say 'getting pregnant serves her right for having unprotected sex' is sick, because that makes it sound like a baby is a punishment or a disease, rather than a gift. But as a gay guy i dont really count, im not likely to have kids naturally without adopting or whatever. So yeah, that is what i think. .............................. My view on abortion is that everybody... No wait... Every woman should be able to get an abortion if she doesn't want the child. But abortion shouldn't be used as protection.

It's nice to see people have their own opinions on abortion. Here's mine: 1. I don't really see that there's any problem at all with sex before marriage. But yeah, that's not what some people's religions say. Whatever floats your boat I guess... 2. But don't you think it's cruel if that child has to live all their life with having a rapist for a father? 3. If someone was addicted to drugs and alcohol, surely their baby would have a really bad up-bringing, no matter how short their life was? 4. Go adoption! 5. I guess it's your sister's choice. To sum up. Abortion shouldn't be taken so lightly, but in some more serious cases it should always be an option. It's true, it's not the baby's fault, but I personally would not want a child to remind me of the time someone hurt me like that. It could be mentally trying on the mother, and the baby having a rapist as a father? Not the best upbringing. It is a living thing; I don't disagree with that. if you were an idiot and had unprotected sex it's your own fault, and you should let the child live. i agree with your "serves her right" policy but i have something to add as i said before, but apparently no one listened because people keep saying the unprotected sex argument, CONTRACEPTIVES DO NOT ALWAYS WORK oh, and i agree that abortion should not be used as protection, and since someone asked how you would no, there has been discussions about having limits to how many procedures you can have in a certain amount of time ........................................................................
