So November is Novel Writing Month.

I haven't started yet!!
I have NO idea what to write about!!!!

It has to be at least 50,000 words, so if I start today, i'll have to write 1700 words a day.

But I need ideas first!

Tbh, if you're writing that much, it has to be your idea.

I would totally help you because I love stories, but in order to fully complete that, an author must have his or her own idea, her personal little world and story. Taking an idea from someone else could help in a short story, but in order for you to truly be connected, to have emotion...you need to really think about it. Ray Bradbury didn't just go up to his best bud and say, hey, you, I need a story. You can get inspiration, but it's not the same.

Besides, authors that write novels go through so so so so so many ideas, and it's bound, that no matter what we tell you, you're probably going to scrap 99.99% of them during the writing process,. It's hard to write a whole novel in a month, but if you do, kudos to you, my friend.

Breathe. Everything will be alright.

Get inspiration from your own life.
The moral can be a lesson you've learned in your life from a mistake, and so on.

Song lyrics can inspire you. Settings can inspire you.

If you think of a setting, say a lovley beach at sunset, the ideas may just keep on coming.

Good luck. :]

The thing most on my mind at the moment is the idea of fame and destruction and being able to put that into almost a graph of lifetime highs and lows. If I were writing a book at this very moment in time, I would write about fictional famous people without names and instead refer to them using titles such as "The Wasted Talent". I would base their lives on already existing people.

I AM ALSO DOING NANOWRIMO. ♥
Considering NaNo is more about quantity than quality, you might want to try writing something you know quite a lot about.
Or, split the story up and think about what (interesting) things could happen at each point.

Good luck!
