hey would anyone be interested in these if i made them? it basically involves a stereo cross-channel foldover - the way pretty odd and later was recorded (including many live performances) it makes it possible to take one channel, invert it, and overlay it on the other. the vocals will usually cancel each other out (similar to how noise canceling headphones work), but most of the instrumentals will be left intact. some (but not all) of you may have heard it if your headphones become half-unplugged in a very specific way.

These take me time and effort to make, so if there's no real excitement about it, I won't do it. If you guys want it, i'll do all of pretty odd and new perspective (and songs by other bands if you send them to me, and they work like this). most of the PO alternates and it's almost halloween work, so let me know if you want those too.

so, kind of interesting. came out pretty good... comments are more than welcome. i have friends in holy spaces didn't work at all, which i guess proves they weren't lying, the whole song was probably recorded on one old mono mic, then set off-center slightly, but the flow of the album should stay constant. some songs work better than others, but i guess you'll see

And yes, that happens with my cellphone earphones, and it used to happen with my pc headphones because I accidentally stepped on them (can you say klutzzzz) and they broke. But the sound was sweet

I for one would appreciate it, I have always wanted a sort of "Back Track" version of Pretty. Odd. so I could play the guitar parts and sing the vocal parts. Plus, if the vocals weren't in, it would be easier to hear some of the guitar parts. (i.e, From A Mountain In The Middle Of The Cabins)

You know, the one that may sound most kickass is WTDMTN. I love they way the vocals are in different tones and get mixed. I've become used to paying a lot of attention to it in every song I listen to and then try to sing the backup vocals

I would love it if you made those! I absolutely love instrumental songs. And the headphones thing is what I do when I'm bored. I like doing it with WTDMTN and FAMITMOTC.
