please tell me how to put an image to my avatar,

well....i got my friend to do it for me, but that doesn't help much, does it? =)

click the 'go' on the menubar then personal zone


then View/Edit Complete Profile

then scroll down and there should be a section called Public Profile Fields and from there its all in the Avatar / Picture URL part

go to your profile either by clicking on your bn in a post or pressing the "Go" button underneath the Moderators list and then going to "Personal Zone" and then "Profile". once there, click "View/Edit Complete Profile". next to where it says "Avatar/Picture URL" there should be a hyperlink that says "Edit". Click on it, and a window will pop up. above the list of default avatars, there's another hyperlink that says "Custom Avatar". Click on it, and then there will be a magical box that will allow you to put the URL of your chosen avatar into it. Make sure and use a direct link and it helps if your chosen avatar is already 75x75 pixels so it doesn't end up looking strange. Once you put a working link into the magical box, press the magical "Update Avatar" button. It will say "Your avatar changes have been applied, then the window will close, taking you back to your original profile screen. Once you get there, press the "Submit" button, and voila! A magical avatar will be displayed!

1. Click "GO" on the menu bar, which is at the top left of the screen.
2. On the drop down menu, put your mouse over "Personal Zone" and you will see "Profile", click on this.
3. Click on "View/Edit Complete Profile" at the top right of the Member Profile.
4. You will see "Avatar/Picture URL:" half way down the page, click the "Edit" button.
5. There you have a list of Avatars to choose from, but if you want to place a custom avatar, click on "Custom Avatar" which is on the top of the page, above the avatars.

For a custom avatar:
1. You can either upload a avatar to PhotoBucket or Tinypic and once you upload it, you copy the "Direct URL".
2. Paste the "Direct URL" into the box and click Update Avatar.
