I love it. I hated the performance last night up until Ryan started to sing. Honestly, I want Brendon to be the back up singer, Ryan should be the lead singer. His voice is lovely. When I watched this performance, I started to feel guilty I didn't want to go to the Rock Band Live Tour.

My mom asked me if I stayed up to watch PATD on Last Call With Carson Daly and I said yes and she asked me how the performance was and I said terrible.
I started to rant on her about PATD. It wasn't a mad rant, more of a sad rant. She said, "Fame changes some people. Money changes some people. It's sad to see them now, how terrible they look and how they have turned to drugs." My mom about cried when I showed her what Spencer looks like. before i watched the performance i thought i'd be all like "no way you guys are talking shit"
but now i've watched it and i have to say i agree with most of what you've said. i normally prefer brendon's voice as it, well usually sends pleasant shivers up me. but based on this performance i'd vote ryan as the better singer. hes improved sooooo much, i have to say im proud of the guy! brendon does seem to use too much vibrato here, but on other performances he has it in check so this is a bad one. but everyone has bad days. {{all the lonely people, where do they all come from?}} {{all the lonely people, where do they all belong?}} |

ryan in this performance actually sounds like a cowboy with nasal problems. i'm sorry...i LOVE his voice, but just not in this performance, but he has an AMAZING voice. He just sounded terrible when he sang:"Sugarcane in the easy mornin'
Weathervanes my one and lonely." Other than that, it was great and, yeah, it did change. |

wait... i stayed up all night.. and i saw them preform nine in the afternoon, but i didnt see northern downpour?! im kicking myself right now. When was this then? cause its pretty obvious that it was the same night as that :P. And i agree completly... ryan sounds amazing in this! And i like how brendon mixes things up, makes me smile everytime
