Thought since there are a lot of people going to a lot of warped's this year everyone can put everything in one thread

Review: Aside from it being hot as crap all day....and feeling like we were cooking out in the sun...the show was good. We got in the venue at like 11:20 and jammed over to the hurley stage to check out the end of 3OH!3's set. Stayed there for Shwayze's set too. They put on a good set so if you get a chance that's one to go check out. The pier that we were on only had 1 set of stairs for each level...there were 3 levels and that crap sucked big time...there was always a massive line both ways (up and down) to get anywhere. Then there was some anti war bush tent people at one of the sets of stairs and of course when you mix drunk people + demonstrators it doesnt make for a good time. They were screaming at throwing things at these people...one drunks girlfriend had was pulling him back because he wanted to go beat up the "hippie" with the bullhorn shouting about anti war stuff. It was fricken crazy. So booo to whomever thought it was a good idea to have the stairs set up like that. It limited getting anywhere for set's quickly that's for sure. We went and saw Katy Perry's set....she did a good one too. My friend was enjoying the fact that her boobs were totally about to fall out of the outfit she had on. I think she figured it out pretty quick because she started holding them down when she was jumping around. But that is def another set to go check out if you can. Went and watched GCH's acoustic set....we got over there late and ended up in the back....so instead of seeing the guys we got to watch the couple in front of us...on whatever the hell they were on...basically having sex with there clothes on for the whole set...these poor girls that were next to them were grossed the hell out I felt bad for them...they didnt want to stand there but they didnt want to leave and miss the set either....The set was short but sweet...and not travis grabbin peoples blunts from the crowd! haha. We finished off the day with GCH's main stage set....they were the last band of the day. We already know the set was great as usual so I wont say it again. They did a hardcore cover song and started two huge mosh pits...one right by where me hyphy and the people with us were standing. That shit was crazy. I was surprised Travis still had a voice from him screaming the whole song. It was fukin great though! Me and Hyphy went crazy when we saw tyler come out with his mad guitar skills...go tyler!!! And it was sad as hell when there were about 6 people including us 2 that knew the words to taxi driver....travis stopped at one point and poited the mic out to the crow'd for the "boy meets girl jimmy eat world but schlep eats pills til he's all out" part and we were the only people that knew it. SO SAD because there were hella people that went to watch them. We started laughing about that one. Travis did all of cupids in the crowd and all you could see were crowd surfers flyin by him...

We got to the acoustic set late but my lil sis and cousin found some way to squeeze themselves to the front, they were too excited to see them. It was their first GCH show and they loved it. LOL at the moshing, first time ive seen that at GCH but it was hella fun for the few seconds they were doing it (except for my cousin getting kicked in the head and her glasses falling off)

Schwayze was def my surprise of the day. I went there with no intention of catching their set but im glad I did. If you are going, WATCH THEM, don't make my mistake and walk over to Jefree Star as soon as you walk in. Katy Perry was good too, they shouldn't have cut her off, that was messed up. Damn warped tour and their 5 second set times. Anyway, um...oh yea, TAT from the UK is the bisness. I registered my bone marrow to hopefully find a match with a patient (random things you can do at warped tour) and bought some more stuff from Invisible Children (they get me every time! I should get an IC credit card.) I was hooked on red powerade the entire day but it was warm so to get it cold i would use the ice they used in those nasty ice chests that everyone was digging their hands into. gross, i know but at the time it cooled my drink down and thats all i wanted. I hope i dont wake up with something...

Dub, Hyphy, im sad yall were there and I didn't run into you two. I knew I should have texted yall! Oh well, if you decide to hit up one of the 2 norcal ones in August, let me know! We gotta go back and hold it down for taxi driver again, (yes, I was the only one in my section singing along too)

so apparently i'm the only person that didn't know gch did an acoustic set at the myspace tent??? WHATEVER. lol
while buying tickets i thought going twice would be awesome..but somehow i got sick at the first one..so going to day was A LOT MORE ENJOYABLE...since my date was about 113 degrees and today at Ventura was only in the low 80's . But i couldn't hack it that long because of the fact i was sick:/...anyways as far as gch todays set was so much better than the first day at pomona.At the first one there were "technical difficulties" and they were "limited" as to what to play. well that's what he said on stage, but they did two new songs, the lamb of god cover,etc but today they the new songs, part of simple livin, part of make out club, cookie jar(yeah the one i travs blog) the cover song which created a mosh, but that was good cuz when it was over i was smooshed to the front,marc crowd surfed, gabe came out during cupids chokehold,trav was up on the railing and it was just a hell of a lot better than pomona.

Just got home from the Wapred Tour from Ventura and it was amazing. Gch seems to never fail me. Excellent set... kinda short but it was amazing nonetheless. I can't wait for the quilt. That Lamb of God Laid to Rest cover pretty much made my day

haha i was one of the people on the edge of the mosh pit...ive been trying to find myself in videos on youtube but its like playing the hardest game of wheres waldo. it was a crazy show tho, i wanted to go back today, cant wait for the one in august.
