I already know that this is going to lose and you'll all say 'The Quilt' was nothing like papercuts but it isn't the two are so different but I liked this one more.

I don't know I think it just needs to sink in. Travis is a genius. I don't know take some time and read my blog/review about it..

the quilt is better Click here

I liked most how it was all linked together very very well. Basically I think 'the quilt' is about family [at least how i interpreted it] and that they're all little pieces of a quilt sown together keeping the lead singer warm, and without their warmth there would not be as much success as a musician. There's a ton of stuff in this that I said I didn't understand but it all came together at the end..

I think its also about his addiction to music. And girls were used as a metaphor for music. Like in 'Kissin' Ears' I think was not about how he loves talking to girls.. it was about how he loves listening to music, and cookie jar was his obsession with different types of music.

And I feel that the whole trial thing that played out in it was a metaphor for something too that I'm just not understanding.. This was the first time through 'The Quilt' I mean its a lonnnng album 14 tracks.. So I'm not getting all of it I know that for sure. Maybe I'll come back and figure out what this court thing means.

Question:
Which is better?

Choices:
thequilt
papercutchronicles

Roll Eyes

Okay not as great as papercut chronicles but still pretty good. But I mean its different and uncomparable. I liked most how it was all linked together very very well. Confused

I got my copy in the mail yesterday!!

Love it...cant stop listening to it! I cant say that its better than all of their other albums, cause they are all equally great in my opinion. Each album has a different sound and they are all fantastic in their own way! Big Grin
